I get a bit sick of peoples' self-righteous tone. Interpersonal relationships are complicated and can get very fraught. The Bible also says menstruating women are 'unclean' and advocates the man being the 'head of the household'...dubious sentiments indeed... All I've seen is some denials and then some additional footage of ongoing adultery. Then some separations, and a statement that this is all in 'God's Hands'. Where's the regret?
