The big story last week was that Gigi Hadid went on some dates with a reality show cast-off. The guy’s name is Tyler Cameron, and he was something of a fan favorite on The Bachelorette in this recently concluded season. The Bachelorette Hannah Brown rejected Tyler Cameron, and then later the storyline was supposed to be that Hannah and Tyler would go on some real-world dates and they would get a “second chance” at love. Gigi Hadid had other ideas – Gigi went in and got him. And now Page Six wants us to know that Gigi and Tyler are already doing overnights, SHOCK!
Things are heating up between Gigi Hadid and “The Bachelorette” castoff Tyler Cameron. The pair were spotted hanging out again on Tuesday night, taking a stroll through Manhattan with Hadid’s pal Cully Smoller and model Kendall Visser. A source told Page Six that Cameron then spent the night at Hadid’s apartment, and did not leave until Wednesday morning.
The supermodel, 24, and the reality star, 26, were first linked in early August after they were spotted at Brooklyn’s Dumbo House before moving the party to Hadid’s New York apartment. Less than 24 hours after that date, Hadid and Cameron went out again, this time to Frames Bowling Lounge in Hell’s Kitchen. A source told us their group went bowling in the private VIP Suite and then enjoyed an hour of karaoke.
In July, Hadid made the first move by following Cameron on Instagram while he was a contestant on Hannah Brown‘s season of “The Bachelorette.”
If this happened the way I believe it happened, then I’m going to give Gigi some props. My theory is that Gigi watches The Bachelorette, thought Tyler seemed like a nice guy, so she approached him in a way that made her comfortable, which I assume would be Instagram DMs. They met up on her terms, and it feels like the dates are happening on her terms too. Gigi saw someone she wanted and she went for it. So I’m not going to complain about how this seems off-brand for her, to date a reality show reject. Gigi is taking control of her love life. Good for her.

How is this off brand for her? She’s a reality show daughter, a nepotism model. Zayn was from the x-factor. While I’m sure she can get plenty of guys in Hollywood, this seems in her universe too.
I’m not a fan of hers but yea good for her.
That bachelorette lost out and loving she had “karma” swoop in and take away a second chance with a dude she rejected. He’s quite the snack sooo I approve of this all!
This guy looks like a male version of Gigi. I doubt this will last but I like To go and I am glad she is off the Zayn train finally.
I don’t know why this is making me ponder how they went bowling in the VIP suite. Do they just show up and are eyeballed as celebs and automatically granted access? Do they call and make a reservation? How does the place decide who gets priority? Lol.
He seemed great on the show and i am happy for them if they’re having a good time. Love Hannah Brown but she’ll be fine too!
Lucky girl. Hannah’s been taking the news not so well as evidenced by her social media and interviews – she was definitely hopeful for a reconciliation and HEA. I feel for her, but she made her bed when she picked Jed, Mr. I’m Only Here For My Career, over America’s Sweetheart.
Gigi’s a model and reality royalty, so this pairing does make sense. Good for Tyler, I guess. The romantic in me hopes Hannah and Tyler do rekindle things, but that only seems to happen when the woman is rejected by the lead, right?
I don’t know anything about him but good for her I guess. Don’t think Yolanda will be very happy she moved on from a pop star to a reality tv dude though.
Also I still die a little everytime I see publications calling her, the other nepo girls and any other model really a “supermodel”. This era ended with Gisele. Things are way different now thanks so social media, fake followers and whatever.
Eh, reality shows are scripted as heck anyway. So who knows whether or not Hannah actually expected to reconcile.
But it doesn’t matter, as he’s clearly moving on. Good for him.
+1 on this. He was Hannah’s sloppy seconds. He deserves better. I am glad he is moving on with someone else! Hannah made her Jed, now she has to lie in it.
This is the best her team can do? A reality TV nobody? Sad.
If it’s what he wants he should go for it. Hannah really blew it when she passed him over.
Hannah done fucked up! Tyler seems great! He’s doing good things in the world, and is sweet, and hot! I hoped that things might actually work out for them, but she didn’t pick him, so I can see why he was ready to move on. Not the greaaaaatest look to hook up with Hannah 2 days before being seen publicly with Gigi, but what can you do? Lol.
