However, I spend a lot of time in Key West and I do know that last February Chesney bought a large, beautifully restored home that had previously been inhabited by Kelly Willis and a few other entertainment type people over the years. He moved in and enjoyed relative anonymity for a few weeks before he abruptly put the house up for sale and moved out. He was pissed because a lame local reporter, who owns a newspaper in Marathon, exposed Chesney's home purchase by publishing the address and very specific info regarding the size of the house and all of its various attributes. The jerk went so far as to take pictures of a UPS receipt with Chesney's name on it, which was left by the delivery man on Chesney's fence. Prior to the newspaper article, Kenny really enjoyed his anonymity and was fitting in well with the locals. I saw him at a few of the clubs, but do not know if he frequented the many gay clubs in town. Even though the Key West gay community is pretty good about protecting the anonymity of famous people who come down to hang out in their clubs, I figured I would hear sooner or later that he was at Aqua, Bourbon Street or 801 (all gay clubs). I never heard one peep from anyone who works at or hangs out at any of those clubs. My point, I guess, is that I think I would have heard from someone if Kenny was in town to enjoy a "gay" lifestyle.
