She’s really being ‘extra,’ for the Apple TV thing and award season. She wants a Golden Globe nod, dangit!!
I guess it was her PR flack’s idea to have her promotions and activity land the exact week Angelina’s movie comes out. What a coinky that AJ hasn’t had a huge premiere in 3-4 years, but wahddya know, Jen will be there doing the most at the exact. same. time. LOL
Like I say, her PR flack’s machinations are as predictable as the setting sun…yet genius.

Well, if you really want to go conspiracy theory, Disney probably moved the premiere of Mal 2 up to just before the Nov. 1 debut of “The Morning Show”. After all, it wasn’t supposed to hit the screens until next year! Total coinky-dink that Disney (who is starting their own streaming service) chose the exact same time period as that of Apple’s big streaming launch featuring Aniston and Witherspoon. 😉

Both of these projects have been in the works for YEARS.
Promotion for projects is always a few weeks before the release.
Apple’s The Morning Show season cost $150 million. Maleficent was $180 million, so the sequel is probably around $200 million.
Not to mention the millions spent on ads.
Not to mention the hundreds of other people involved in each projects – writers, directors, producers, studio executives, crews, casts, etc.
Apple and Disney are 2 HUMONGOUS companies that are launching new aspects of their businesses.
You REALLY think Jennifer’s “PR flack” arranged all this, based on 15 year old gossip? Wow.

two COMPLETELY different kinds of stories. people aren’t going to choose one or the other due to whose promotion they see. they may choose one or the other if they’re still on one team or the other, but if you don’t care about a 15 year old marriage and divorce, you’d pick which kind of story interests you (maybe BOTH!). and there is NO WAY IN HELL that either of these promotions will cancel out the other one.

I agree Bonita, I think it’s pretty rare, especially for it to be the whole cast. The women especially seemed to have stayed pretty close.

Im not surprised at all. APPLE has a lot riding on the show she has with Witherspoon. They basically backed a giant truck full of money and dumped it on the series.

it is, but I think it’s because she’s openly admitted that she’s pretty anti-social media, and “stuck in the 90s”. if you consider that an A-lister doesn’t have a FB page, an insta account, etc…it’s strange in these times that someone in her shoes doesn’t use that tool to promote anything.
add to the fact that her very first pic has over 2million likes, and it’s a news story. whenever a celeb who’s fairly “reclusive” (that’s not Aniston, of course) or isn’t present on social media much actually posts on insta, it’s news.

Friends and Frasier, both are on Netflix right now and I admit to tuning in to either of these shows pretty often.
I can’t find much on tv these days. I don’t give a hoot about all the politics, police, reality, endless chat shows on air.
It is funny that people under 30 have no clue about Friends or Frasier. They were very much shows “of their time” the 90’s, and most comedy is not timeless and it ages badly.
I find them “comfort shows” on in the background while I iPad or do chores.
A huge number of under 30s know Friends. People in their mid to late 20s were teens when it was on air and younger generations are finding it on Netflix and it’s incredibly popular. In Ireland and UK, it’s also aired constantly on TV.
Frasier might be a little less known but also still relatively popular.

This is insane lol. There are SO many gen z kids obsessed with Friends. And there are some that watch Frasier too. I’m 29, so right around the cutoff, but I was watching Frasier when I was at uni.
I came to say that very thing! Everyone under 30 is familiar with Friends, it has a whole new following, including my 12 year old daughter and all of her friends. A lot of the younger women I work with love it too. I see friends gear everywhere, even target and Walmart, it cracks me up!
I really can’t stand her.
