It annoys me when not particularly smart celebrities say ‘oh if i wasn’t singing pop/doing romatic comedies I would be a surgeon/scientific for suuuure’. I would love to see them go through school and I would be surprised if they could do it.

Anyone dating Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer should NOT be surprised to be ALONE. Fameho + fameho rarely works. If she really wanted a lasting relationship, she should consider dating a non-celeb, otherwise known as plebians, or nobodies. I doubt she would EVER stoop to that. There’s no PR potential there. Obviously, her one true love is her career.

LOL … wow. I am going to hazard a guess that not of us has ever met these people. Yet through interviews that are edited (or not) – whatever will get the highest ratings/sales, “we” seem to think we do. What a laugh.

IMO – JA has a very limited range, which she exploits in every movie. She was ok in Friends – but her limited range became old.

As for her being a “victim” oh please! She isn’t the first woman to have a husband leave her for another woman, and she won’t be the last. There have been numerous examples mentioned here, of women who have picked themselves up, brushed themselves off and moved forward. They aren’t going around doing interviews, they are in new stable relationships, and continuing on with their lives.

If all JA can offer are semi-nude photos, or dull films, or tedious interviews, I suggest she might try another profession … If she wants to move through relationship after relationship, by all means – that is certainly her right. It all just adds up to “lost” to me.

I’d probably think of her in a better light if she was using her time to help others, instead of going on about herself.

Hey Lisa, it’s from an interview with a Friends writer. He said Matt LeBlanc was the nicest. Mathew Perry was the most professional–he didn’t show up late and always knew his lines, unlike the others. Also, he said Aniston would call the writers up with ideas, and they were always VERY BAD. One idea was to have a story line like Fight Club. Of course, it never happened b/c Friends is a comedy. Somewhere after that, he said he stopped taking her calls altogether.

Hey Karen? Just because I’m curious…I really would like to know what “friends” episodes were supposed to resemble “fight club”?. Just wondering. I love both the shows AND the movie, but I fail to understand how oversized coffee-cups and everyday comedy have anything to do with male aggression or dark political agenda. Could you clarify?

dub, I also think she’s fake. She adjusts her personality acc. to what’s popular or what’s said about her. She’s only pretending to have a sense of humor; usually she’s very defensive. One of the writer on Friends said Aniston will jump on anything that’s popular. After Fight Club came out and was huge, she asked the writers to do more stories LIKE that for Friends!

The woman has more baggage than JFK at xmas and she’s a control freak Jon and Kate style, actually I’m thinking she might be Kate”s role model, I mean Kate adopted some obnoxious hair-do and is awfully bossy.
Now the problem with Aniston is that she comes off as a Bridget Jones type rather than someone who’s comfortable in her own skin. I think it comes from her complete lack of humour despite the fact that she isnt Meryl Streep (who actually is hilarious) and she takes herself and her C list craft way too seriously. In live interviews she comes accross as fake as hell.
And so when you just have no personality other than those traits mentioned the media will make one up for you to suit them…
