Khloe Kardashian ‘jokes’ about her ‘weekly face transplant,’ but is she really joking?

The Mondayest Thursday ever 🤪

A post shared by Khloé (@khloekardashian) on

Khloe Kardashian made headlines last weekend when she debuted her new head on social media. Khloe has been getting extensive plastic surgery on her face and body for years now, from the Pinocchio Butt of Lies to her magically disappearing nose. But last weekend’s Instagram pics were startling, mostly because she didn’t look anything like Khloe and she seemed to be Single-White-Female-ing her best friend Malika Haqq. Well, Khloe posted some additional photos last night and she even joked about her new face:

As a host of her 112million Instagram followers swarmed the comments section, one penned: ‘Why do you look so different’, before the famously-funny star hit back: ‘My weekly face transplant clearly’, much to her fans’ delight.

[From The Mail]

Gross. I guess people think she’s being self-aware, but I have to ask: would a self-aware person do this to themselves? Dysmorphic disorder, thy name is Kardashian-Jenner.

Meanwhile, a few more Khloe-related things. One, she’s selling her Calabasas home, listing it for $18.95 million. She bought the Mediterranean Revival mansion in 2014 for $7.2 million from Justin Bieber and she did extensive renovations, including converting TWO bedrooms into a massive closet. Her home has been featured on KUWTK as well, even though the family sometimes uses stunt-homes or rentals for filming. I would say that this is a terrible time to list one’s mega-mansion, but California real estate is wacky and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Khloe unloads this in a few months. Apparently, she’s already got her eye on a larger home close by.

Following Scott Disick’s breakup with Sofia Richie, the Kardashians have been supporting Scott. They threw him a small party this week, and Khloe and Scott have been hanging out a lot. They’ve always been close. Personally, I think Scott loves Khloe more than Kourtney.

I think Scott loves Khloe more than Kourtney too! He also seems like the type to pick based on looks so while his personality fits better with a Khloe type he wouldn’t have went for her when she had the “curvier” body and 5 faces ago

    • AppleTartin says:

Scott seems the type to like small petite girls so it makes his dick look bigger.

      • clomo says:

I bet tons of guys do that, which is fine as long (pardon the pun) as they’re small WOMEN.

  2. Tok says:

I know her tinkering with her face can be a sign of some serious psychological issues, but … I leave it to the person themselves to decide what to do with their body. Yes, it might be sick, yes, it might set a bad example, but it’s her life, her body, her issues.

    • Noki says:

Sometimes i feel bad for them, especially Khloe and Kylie, when they were the ‘plain’ sisters social media was so cruel. I mean Khloe used to be called an ogre and Chyna the wrestler. So now they fold into the pressure and people still drag them, what to do?

      • josephine says:

The only sympathy I have for any of them is that they were raised to value nothing but what they looked like. But these are women with incredible privilege and lots of money. They could have done anything with their lives – they could get an education, travel, start an organization that supports others. But they decided to focus on only one thing – what they looked like. They did not develop grit, or determination, or stength, or character. People face cruelty every day, real cruelty, and they make something of themselves, they rise above. These women had a super easy fix to the “cruelty” they faced – turn off the social media and develop a real life. They had options few do. So tired of people giving so much thought and attention to these shallow, valueless celebs. People are doing great things in the world, wish we could celebrate that more.

      • Sally says:

no amount of surgery could make chloe even close to being pretty. that face, those lips, that body. none of it is HER. wonder what her baby thinks?? where is my mom? who dat? the list could go on and on.
as for cylie, she is not one bit attractive, at all. same as with chloe, stilly ugly. wishing this entire bunch would go away, far, far away. js imo

      • Bucky says:

The last time I watched their show was approximately 150 years ago, when Khloe had probably only had a couple nose jobs, extensions, and lipo. I remember Bruce making an offhand comment about Khloe being larger in stature than she would like to be. He may or may not have been insulting her weight. She interpreted “large” as fat and confidently refused to accept the insult. She told him she was perfect, or something. Now, it sounds like she can’t be comfortable as she is for more than a few days. It could be photo editing, or cosmetic dermatology, or plastic surgery (maybe all of the above).

In that respect it is sad that there was a time where she was happy with herself, or, at least saw that being happy with herself as-is or with superficial renovation was the goal.

I don’t follow her on social media but I think it is also possible that she doesn’t do or think of anything that is interesting enough to have a large number of followers. Posting a “new look” is the low hanging fruit. Everyone responds to the shocking new face…then her mom gets to report to advertisers that her account has huge activity.

    • Severine says:

@josephine – I agree with you 100%. Even during this pandemic I have had my friends (we are all college educated) bitch and moan about being bored and I said “Read a book!” What a radical idea to educate oneself, to help others, and to stop being focused on how one looks (and trust me, I love looking good).

  3. Lflips says:

You aren’t licensed to assess, diagnose, or treat mental health disorders – so, you shouldn’t jokingly speculate as to what they might be. You didn’t even say the disorder name correctly; it’s body dysmorphic disorder, not “dysmorphic disorder”.

    • Cassie says:

@LFLIPS Thank you!! BDD has an insanely high suicide rate and it grosses me out to see so many people attack them this way specifically. I have no idea if any of the Kardashians suffer from this, and while I’d criticize them for a lot of things, a poorly understood mental illness is not one of them.

    • styla says:

I agree. So much speculation for something that is a serious condition. Being open about mental health issues does not mean you get to self diagnose everyone around you.

    • Bucky says:

It is fine to speculate. It would be problematic if a mental health professional who had not treated Khloe presented a diagnosis. The general public can speculate all day long.

  4. julia says:

I just can’t picture seeing myself looking in a mirror, completely altered to look like a sex doll and being happy with what’s staring back at me. I can’t even use a filter without having second thoughts about a slight alteration in my skin texture. That being said, if it is making her happy, all the power to her!

    • Lizzie says:

      Agree, it makes her happy.
She wants a prettier version of herself, I don’t see that as sad or awful.

    • leftcoastal says:

But does it make her happy? The fact that she keeps getting surgery/fillers/procedures to LITERALLY change the appearance of her body sounds more like someone who is deeply, deeply unhappy with who they are. That’s not to say someone who loves dressing up or getting their hair done or wearing a ton of makeup is unhappy, but what she and her sisters (and mother) do to themselves is way, way beyond “hey, I love getting glammed up!”

    • Jules says:

oh please, she is miserable and hates herself and how she looks. that’s why she does this, it is the exact opposite of being happy. it’s all superficial and fake.

  5. Christina says:

Those lips! Those talons! It’s hard to imagine that anyone thinks that is a good look?

  6. S808 says:

I always thought he and Khloe get along a lot better than he does with Kourtney.

  7. Andrew’s Nemesis says:

    ‘Debuted her new head’
I just coughspat yoghurt over that one – well done. A much-needed dash of levity in a very sombre day.

  8. Noki says:

I think once you start with some procedures you just have to keep going back, because people like Lil Kim and the Jacksons noses have virtually disappeared over night.

    • AppleTartin says:

Plastic Surgery is an addiction the same as drugs or booze. Once you start you can’t stop and predatory surgeons are more than happy to take their money.

      • lucy2 says:

I would guess there’s some addiction to it happening here, as well as a number of other issues. It’s sad.

    • Lizzie says:

I expect that some surgeons are better than others.
Jane Fonda has had beautiful work done. I think Jaclyn Smith too but not positive.

  9. JanetDR says:

On a different note with the closet conversion, a friend of mine lives in an old farmhouse with minimal closet space. She converted a large bedroom to a closet with shoe, hat, boot and purse shelves, metal pipes all the way around the room with a wall devoted to each season, some free standing racks from a clothing store in the middle. I have *never* been so envious of anything in my life!

    • lucy2 says:

I would love that! I bought an old house a few years ago, and the closet in my bedroom was only 30″ wide. Luckily there was room to build a small walk in as the room is weirdly big, but converting a whole room and having things super organized sounds awesome.

  10. Case says:

*shrugs* She has the money and she’s doing something that (maybe) makes her happier with herself. I don’t like passing judgement on plastic surgery. I don’t like the example it sets for younger folks, but it’s a personal choice.

  11. Lizzie says:

If she has a good surgeon and the expendable money then it is her business. I am not a fan of the judgement, mostly women, for plastic surgery.

    • Jules says:

we are going to have an opinion and use our brains when people flaunt their fake selves on social media 24/7. this is especially degrading to women because it puts out a false image and superficial expectation of how women are supposed to look.

    • Melissa says:

If it were ONLY this…ok, to be honest, I would still judge her. I might not be so harsh if it weren’t for all of the other outright lies this family has flogged over the years — to be specific her ‘fertility issues’ which is such a slap in the face to couples who actually face them.

I will acknowledge it’s shitty for me as a woman to judge her on this particular issue. I’m still gonna do it because she irritates me, but also to be honest because I have some envy that they were born on 3rd base and keep thinking they are hitting home runs, because financially they are.

      • Jules says:

Tbh I don’t think “it’s shitty for you to judge”. There is a difference between judgment and discernment. And the excuse that women have to support all women is just a cop out for people to act shitty, and then play the victim when they get called out.

  12. Ash says:

“Forbes now think that Kylie, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after tax from the sale, has a personal fortune at just under $900 million”

Ugh, what a pleb, under $900 million? Pathetic.

  13. Tiffany :) says:

Wow! They inflated her sales by 300% each year! That’s really interesting. I thought they were lying, but I’m glad Forbes is acknowledging it now.

  14. CROOKSNNANNIES says:

I wish I knew more about body dysmorphic disorder, and if the rates have gone way up in the social media age/how impressionable it is. I don’t like the idea of the issue becoming more rampant when no one should have to suffer from it.

  15. MsDiMeanOur says:

    Off topic question
Are those nails hygienic during the Covid 19 pandemic?

    My OCD brain is asking…

    • ME says:

You can’t properly wash your hands with those damn nails. But I guess this family doesn’t really care about the virus. They aren’t social distancing at all.

  16. L says:

It’s like these kardashian women are all morphing into the same person. They each try to look more like the other and it’s some weird vicious cycle. Hate to think what they will all look like when they’re 80 and all the ‘work’ takes a different turn.

  17. kellebelle says:

    Quack quack !!

  18. Pork chops & Apple sauce says:

This is a combination of cosmedical procedures/injections, FaceTune, Photoshop, IG/SnapChat filters. The K/J’s social media job is to illicit responses. They troll themselves, they troll the general public. If they can’t get you as a fan, then they’ll happily take you as a hater. We give them the oxygen they need to keep their fires going. They all do it, every last one of them, some are just better at it. When their show finally gets cancelled, which will be soon because their ratings keep shrinking, they’ll need their social media presence to stay in the public eye, so they’re working it hard.

  19. Jules says:

This family is full of such liars. First Khloe (or second really) and it’s come out how Kylie lied about her company’s worth and they even had their CPA draw up fake documents!! I hope they get exposed more clearly.

They have influenced waaay too many young girls and hurt our culture with their obsession with money/consumption and looks (surgery and designer stuff, homes, etc).

I have heard teen girls say that Kim K is their role model or Kylie when there are women out there doing more honest legit work. Gosh, even in the entertainment/media there are better examples that aren’t KarJenners!

    • shanaynay says:

It’s truly sad how many people look up to them. There are so many other people to be influenced by. Why on earth do they still follow/watch the K clan. These famef*^^ers are just so trashy. Please people get better role models. I cannot wait until this whole family disappears back into the whole in which they crawled out of.

  20. Meeeee says:

I think the easiest way to see if someone has had any real work done is to judge them by their timeline. Actual face work takes a long time to heal, and it’s not pretty. There’s bruising and oftentimes drains coming from the scalp. Have we seen Khloe consistently enough that there’s no way she could’ve snuck something in?

    • Melissa says:

Throw back Thursday!!! I’m sure they have a vault of photos just ready to produce content at a moment’s notice. I doubt they do the full glam squad on the daily — they do sessions, different clothes, different hair and lighting etc.

  21. Megs says:

Her multi-million dollar home is now too small and she want something bigger? Ugh, f$&k the rich. Yes, I realize it’s their money and it’s all relative but at some point one could do the inner work and be better, I’m irritated.

  22. Allergy says:

    Sad grifting family.

  23. minx says:

She looks ridiculous and her nails are grotesque.

  24. Jules says:

not at all surprised! just glad the truth is leaking out.

  25. josephine says:

I don’t know, anyone who actually thinks that these people don’t lie about everything – every little thing – is not paying attention.

    • Hoot says:

Lol, yes Josephine I agree. They operate out of the DJTrump handbook for “Making Friends and Influencing People.” :/s

  26. GB says:

    Her lips terrify me.

  27. L4frimaire says:

She seriously does not look anything like Khloe at all. It’s absolutely bizarre, like her face was grown in a lab of generic fem bits. The duck lips are weird.

  28. theotherViv says:

So she is slowly morphing into a Kim+Sophia clone?

  29. Soupie says:

    Well hello Khloe Wildenstein.

  30. Libby says:

Her lips are taking up like half of her face

  31. Kim says:

As crazy as Khloe looks these days – the thumbnail on the homepage looks additionally altered, no?

  32. Bucky says:

Oh, I just saw that the finances of Kylie Cosmetis are under federal investigation. If their companies share ownership/members, they’ll probably all be audited and never survive that… lots of new faces are in order.

    • Jules says:

Juicy gossip. I was eye rolling her billionaire status from the beginning. She now says she never asked for all this attention being called a billionaire. Yet she had no problem posing for Forbes and flaunts her wealth all over insta. This family is so thin-skinned.

  33. AndaPanda says:

I’m here to say SoCal real estate is booming. I don’t live in a super expensive area like Khloe’s but Places in my neighborhood are selling upwards of $50k-$100k more than just a couple years ago. People are still buying and selling like crazy. I’m really surprised.

  34. Pink says:

It’s really sad what all of these women continue to do to their bodies. Im not against plastic surgery per se, but they clearly have a problem. It’s not just one of them getting a nose job or one getting a boob job. It’s constant procedures for all of them. That’s not the sign of a happy person.

Also continuing to have anaesthetic takes a huge physical toll on your body over the years, how do they not know this? And why would you keep doing it if you did know this? They’re placing themselves at greater risk each time they do this, and for what? Social media likes?Plastic surgeons who continue to operate on people who don’t need it also have a lot to answer for.

  35. No Doubt says:

I feel sad for that family. They really think all that bad makeup and plastic surgery looks good. I feel the most for the children they are raising who will grow up to be the same as them. Craving fame, money and perfection at all costs.

  36. shanaynay says:

Her face has become a freak show!!!!
