The six-count indictment against Ghislaine Maxwell includes abuse & exploitation

Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested at approximately 8:30 am EST in Bradford, New Hampshire on Thursday. For years, we’ve heard that Maxwell has been able to move around quietly, and some people believed she was living almost entirely overseas under the protection of the powerful men she catered to when she was beside Jeffrey Epstein all of those years. But no, she wasn’t overseas. She bought herself a 156-acre estate in New Hampshire through a “carefully anonymized LLC,” meaning through an anonymous shell company. The FBI contacted the local law enforcement, and the local LEOs were on the ground with the FBI agents for Maxwell’s takedown. Law enforcement “rang the bell at the end of the long driveway at 8:30 a.m., and it was answered by a housekeeper, sources said.” Maxwell “ran into a bedroom when told the authorities were there for her, but she eventually came out on her own and immediately asked for her lawyer.” As for what she was officially charged with…

The six-count indictment against Ghislaine Maxwell states that she took part “in the sexual exploitation and abuse of multiple minor girls by Jeffrey Epstein.” From 1994 to at least 1997, “Maxwell assisted, facilitated, and contributed to Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse of minor girls by, among other things, helping Epstein to recruit, groom, and ultimately abuse victims known to Maxwell and Epstein to be under the age of 18,” the 18-page indictment alleges. The victims were allegedly as young as 14.

Maxwell is accused of enticing “minor victims to travel to Epstein’s residences in different states, which Maxwell knew and intended would result in their grooming for and subjection to sexual abuse.” The indictment also alleges that in 2016, Maxwell “provided false and perjurious statements, under oath, regarding, among other subjects, her role in facilitating the abuse of minor victims by Jeffrey Epstein.”

Their victims were groomed and abused at multiple locations, including Epstein’s mansions in Manhattan and Palm Beach, his New Mexico ranch, and Maxwell’s London residence, according to the documents.

The indictment refers to three survivors, including Minor Victim-1 who was 14 when she met Maxwell. The socialite allegedly groomed the victim from 1994 to 1997 and involved her “in group sexualized massages of Epstein.” Epstein and Maxwell transported the girl to residences in New York and Florida, prosecutors say. The couple abused Minor Victim-2 in New Mexico in 1996. (This accusation mirrors the story of Annie Farmer, who was flown to Epstein’s ranch alone.) A third victim was “groomed and befriended” by Maxwell in London between 1994 and 1995, according to prosecutors.

Maxwell and Epstein would take the teenagers to the movies and on shopping trips, and some outings “would involve Maxwell or Epstein spending time alone with a minor victim,” the indictment states. “Having developed a rapport with a victim, Maxwell would try to normalize sexual abuse” by “discussing sexual topics, undressing in front of the victim, being present when a minor victim was undressed, and/or being present for sex acts involving the minor victim and Epstein,” it adds. Maxwell “helped put the victims at ease because an adult woman was present,” prosecutors say.

[From The Daily Beast]

The Daily Beast also included statements from some of the victims and their lawyers – some of Epstein and Maxwell’s victims already have existing civil cases against Maxwell and the Epstein estate. The criminal case will come before the civil action though, but I would guess that the victims know that and accept it. Most of them are simply happy that this child molesting human trafficker has finally been arrested.

If you subscribe to the NY Times, they’ve put the PDF of Ghislaine’s indictment online – go here to read.

One last thing… is this true?

After watching Netflix’s documentary about Epstein and her it’s so clear that so much people of the elite are pedophiles , like it’s not a small percentage. Clinton was at that infamous island, Bill Gates too. Ghislaine was at Chelsea’s wedding. We’ll never know what really happens behinds closed doors. I just assume the worst of everyone.

    • Seraphina says:

I too watched the docuseries and it made me sick to my stomach on so many levels. What they did, how the powerful and ultra rich are protected and how they help one another. While it disgusted me to my core, I recommend it to everyone. It’s eye opening. I too now trust no one. They are all a den of thieves. And I pray they ALL get what they deserve. And I don’t mean just the people involved with Jeffery. This goes further. R Kelly too. Everyone who has destroyed lives over and over again. Despicable.
She will not make it to court. Let’s see if they can protect her so we all find out how many places the Devil hides.

      • BlinkBanana says:

If they have any sense, they will protect her with everything they can. She is the key to blowing this thing wide open.

    • SKF says:

Did Gates go to the island? In the subpoenaed and published flight manifestos he is not listed as ever going to the island. He met with Epstein a few times and had his team from his foundation meet with him in an effort to get funds for his foundation. Epic error of judgment? Definitely. But I don’t believe anyone has thus far accused Gates of being involved in anything illegal regarding those poor girls.

Believe you me, I think scarily large numbers of the rich and powerful are involved in pedophile rings.

The one that was exposed in Belgium and then completely hushed up a decade or so ago was clear evidence of that. That one involved major politicians, cops, royalty, judiciary, businessmen… they found dead kids in cages and had a victim who could describe the interiors of private homes and boats of the rich and powerful in great detail and suddenly that witness was smeared as insane and locked up, everyone on the investigative panel was fired and replaced and the whole thing folded. Nothing.

I can well believe that Epstein’s tentacles spread far. It seems obvious that Prince Andrew, Trump and Bill Clinton were involved, or at least were present and knew. However, let’s ensure that we have some shreds of evidence before accusing anyone that ever came into contact with Epstein and Maxwell of being pedophiles. Those circles of power and money are small and Maxwell was a well-connected socialite (she hooked Epstein up with her connections), and Epstein undoubtedly had his dirty fingers in all sorts of pies. I’ve seen it suggested that he was also an arms dealer and various other things and that he also donated money to… cover up? Win his soul a few meagre brownie points? Who knows. Many things could be possible. But possible doesn’t equal fact.

      • Nic919 says:

I think the Bill Gates connection is related more to Epstein being connected to academia and IT companies so more of a money laundering angle.
There are so many pieces to this grotesque puzzle and there is a guy in the WH looking to shut it down.

      • MaryContrary says:

From what I remember reading, I think they had dinner a few times. As you say, Epstein was connected to all kinds of people-not just nefariously but also financially, and philanthropically.

      • A.Key says:

SKF, do you mean the Marc Dutroux case? How was the elite involved in that?

    • AnnaKist says:

You are so right, MCV. The terrible thing is that for every one they prosecute, or simply expose, there are thousands who will get away with it. We have a few friends who are state and federal police officers. Most habe seen horrific things in their line of work, smd all will tell you that any crime involving abuse of children in whatever form, is the worst. One, a federal officer. spent 4 years in the child exploitation unit. He had to see the police psychologist every week. He never discussed what he saw with us, he just said to imagine the worst, and double it, then double it again. Every now and then we hear about a police officer, politician, religious person, celebrity, teacher etc etc, having been charged with child sex offences, and it just makes me look at everyone around me and silently ask, “So, which one of you is it?” The good thing here is that we don’t have a statute of limitations, so reports can be, and have been, made 40 years after the abuse took plane.

I hope they can really nail Maxwell, this vile, despicable piece of garbage.

    • badgoodmeh says:

if the whole list of ppl who used epstein’s lolita express and the island for their perversions was exposed, it would change history. i can think of a few names in entertainment Im thinking of in particular, and thats just film history

the FBI interviewed Spielberg about his visits to the island.

Spacey was interviewed as well – and there are horrific rumors that Spacey was banned after sexually abusing the boys he was ‘given’ so horrificly, he killed them (sidenote: all 3 accusers of Spacey, minus the teenage son of a reporter in New England, are DEAD under mysterious circumstances). Spacey’s creepy video response in character as Frank Underwood, the one ppl thought was rightfully disturbing and weird – the teacup, peep that. Royal Family. Bryan Singer didnt end up getting interviewed by the FBI years ago bc he knew he’d be on the flight log if he flew the lolita express (he’s a veteran predator, he knows his way around the authorities – unlike ‘aww, shucks’ Spielberg) so he took a boat to Epstein’s island.

re: Spielberg might have a grandpa ‘accidental molestation’ fetish. ever since I heard about Heather O’Rourke’s death coverup & Spielberg’s potential involvement, my eyebrow was permanently raised. they covered up that poor girls death after 2 producers did what they did to her…

often I think about Eyes Wide Shut, Stanley Kubrick’s last film. He died of a heart attack the day after he showed the final cut to some ppl, including Kidman and Cruise. Spielberg took over A.I. – Kubrick was in the middle of directing it when he died, mysteriously. Michael Jackson’s weird $$$$ spent to cast some ridiculous voodoo spell on Spielberg & Geffen? apparently S & G had been using Neverland for some kid program & MJ found out what they were using Neverland for – now granted, I do think Michael Jackson is not 100% innocent, but I know about Geffen, and Spielberg/Geffen/Katzberg founded Dreamworks.

  2. Sandy says:

Wow Barr already there to try to shut her up, I bet. That fat old f*ck already trying to save everyone’s butts.
Oh please let her spill on the others and then let her get 50 years in jail. Please please. Ugggh why is the justice system so unfair. I wish it was an impartial robot system.

    • Digital Unicorn says:

I think it’s also to save his own lard ass – he and his father have connections to Epstein.

      • anon says:

        This!
The efforts Barr took to replace Sessions at the time started to make sense when info about Epstein’s investigation and future detention and links Donald Barr had with him came out. Barr has skin in this game. Lots of skin, he’s a very fat boy.

      • Sean says:

        DING DING DING

      • Ponchorella says:

Yuppers. Barr went after AG role not to protect Trump, but to save himself.

    • Prayer Warrior says:

Because we don’t have a justice system as you and I would understand the term. We have a legal system and lawyers who gleefully misuse and misinterpret the law to get bad folks off from their crimes for money, money, a great deal of money.

    • BonnieT says:

Bill Barr is as dirty as they come. No one will ever get justice if he’s who we have to rely on…

    • MaryContrary says:

Are there confirmed stories of this? I see it’s on twitter. (I wouldn’t doubt it but I’d like to see it from a credible news source.)

    • AnnaKist says:

All these vermin protect each other. That’s how these networks thrive. The nobody pedo down the street gets away with his hobby because of the powerful, influential people at the top. They won’t say anything about Mr Nobody and Mr Nobody never mentions Mr and/or Mrs Bigwig, unless he’s talking to another piece of scum in the network. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens to her. I doubt she’ll drop any of them in it. Not if she knows what’s good for her. I wonder how many of her powerful, influential friends (or should that be *clients*?) will stand by her? Not many, I reckon. Dies anyone remember the Heidi Fleiss thing? As I recall, she copped it all. This is so much worse though, because it involves minors.

  3. MCV says:

    You know why lol
The problem is “stanning” politicians because of the political party they’re members when you should “stan” the person because of the individual actions. The Clintons are as disgusting as many republican politicians, in fact they were frineds with Trump.
    Rich people have no morals.

    • Calibration says:

Surely no one ‘stans’ the Clintons? I don’t believe they’re what the ultra right say they are but I can’t imagine anyone staning them

      • Kriseth says:

Some people do, which is part of the reason why we had issues in 2016.

I think Bill, along with many others, normalized this type of abuse by trying to glamourize it for these girls (and probably boys).

It’s just disgusting. Hillary may not have been a participant but she most certainly knew. We often say that she shouldn’t have to live with her husband’s sins, but when you don’t speak out, perhaps you are also part of the problem.

In the end, they’re all in this together it seems.

      • Darla says:

No Kriseth it doesn’t not seem that they’re all in this together, including Hillary Clinton who dedicated her life to helping children. Who’s paying you to spread this? What other sites you working this morning girl?

What it seems like is that Donald Trump’s modeling agency was a human trafficking cover, and Epstein learned how to supersize his operation from Trump. What it seems is that Bill Barr is involved and this goes back to Barr’s own father. What it seems is that Trump defender, Alan Dershowitz is involved. What it seems is they attempted to stop this two weeks ago by firing Berman.

Hillary may not have been a participant! Do you see what this person is doing??? Disgusting. Should be banned.

      • Kriseth says:

@Darla, I never said Hillary was involved. I think many people are involved in covering this up, and if you think she is not involved in trying to get Bill’s name out of this after going through two presidential elections as a candidate, you are not thinking clearly.

The rich and powerful involved in this are going to try and protect each other at all costs until it is no longer beneficial to do so. That is what I mean by “they’re all in this together.”

I don’t know why people want to die on this hill but politics, period, are dirty and the Clintons are a political dynasty. Their hands aren’t going to be clean, and that’s okay.

I hope the accusations against Bill are false. As a Democrat, I want scandal to remain far away from the party. But…come on…he rode on Epstein’s plane called the Lolita Express. You don’t think he wasn’t aware of the rumors?

We know the current president is undoubtedly implicated and may have gotten his family involved. It’s disgusting. He is an actual monster and we have proof.

So many people could have saved these girls, gotten the evidence needed to put them away a long time ago, but they looked the other way.

Stop making this some partisan issue and hold everyone accountable.

      • Darla says:

Stop posting sly insinuations and poopaganda. Bill Clinton does not stand accused. And Hillary has nothing to do with this. We have a monster in the WH because of people like you. Here’s something you know very well, and you likely make money from knowing: when everyone’s to blame, no one’s to blame. Your posts are disinformation meant to muddy the waters. Only when directly called out do you backtrack and claim sure, Trump is bad. But you precede and follow that with paragraphs about “the clintons”

WHO DO NOT STAND ACCUSED. Period.

        Don’t think I don’t see you. And I know you’re a pro. Ask yourself how I know.

      • Kriseth says:

@Darla, I’m a black woman who voted for Hillary.

We have a monster in the White House because of racist America was tired of seeing a black man in office so took the most disgusting underachieving example of the rotting, corrupt system that America has championed and put him in office.

It wasn’t black women who put him (and his family) in office, but keep believing whatever you need to. I’ll be voting Biden this election cycle and everyone Democrat in the national, state and local elections as I have been doing. Please don’t tell me where the rot in America comes from, because it’s not from my corner.

      • Dilly says:

        Suuuure you are.

      • Kriseth says:

        @Dilly,

It’s a really good look questioning the identity of a black woman voicing her opinions online. We take so much abuse, microaggressions and snide remarks, so I’m used to it and will still keep fighting for my community. And I won’t just accept the status quo considering we’re one of the groups furthest from it and haven’t been protected by it.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

I don’t understand why you are all jumping on @Kriseth I think you would have to be a blind dumba$$ not to at least suspect that Bill Clinton had nefarious goings on with Epstein. Everyone in Epsteins orbit is suspect. I can’t believe you all are making this a political issue, rather than looking at ALL of Epsteins buddies with a side eye. ANYONE regardless of their political point of view who hung out with Epstein is suspect. I know you all on here are not so blinded by a political point of view that you can’t see that.

    • Betsy says:

WTF why are you lumping the Clintons in with this? If Bill turns out to be guilty of rape, bye dude, but I havent actually ever heard suggestion of him being involved in the human trafficking and rape. And why would you drag Mrs. Clinton in? We certainly missed having four years of progress when people believed the kind of thing you say and voted no one or for Trump. I don’t support the right wing smearing of her.

      • Darla says:

She or he is lumping them in because the’re being paid to do so. Don’t kid yourself. there is a huge disinformation campaign underway.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

I believe our catch phrase now is silence is complicity, If it turns out that Clinton had any involvement, I can’t believe that an intelligent, well connected woman like Hillary would have no clue about it. I don’t know if Clinton is involved or not, but let’s not play the naive wife card for Hillary.

    • Lightpurple says:

This may come as a huge shock to some people, particularly Eric Trump, but Bill Clinton is NOT currently the President of the United States. In fact, he left office 19 years and 6 months ago and has held no elected position, nor sought one, since. If he is involved with this, then, yes, by all means, he should face severe consequences and it is newsworthy but it is NOT as newsworthy, nor should it be raised as a defense or qualifier or anything else, as the involvement of the CURRENT President and his partners Barr and Dershowitz. The CURRENT President sets policies on the enforcement of crimes such as human trafficking, kidnapping, prostitution, child pornography, and extortion and he is responsible for enforcing those policies. He has the power and ability and apparently the inclination to interfere in this prosecution. Bill Clinton, again, out of office for nearly two full decades, has none of that power.

And before anyone “but Hilary!s” me, Hillary Clinton left the US Senate in January 2009 and has had no authority over legislative matters in over a decade; she left Obama’s Cabinet in December 2012 and has had no power over anything involving the US government for the past eight years. Nor is she seeking political office and she has not done so for the past 3 and a half years. She would also seem to be no more involved with this than Ivana or Marla or the current First Lady, who may have been very involved in this.

While the Clintons may have some degree of involvement in Ghislaine Maxwell’s past crimes, they are not currently on par with the current President of the United States, nor should they be treated as such. It is lazy to do so. Indeed, they aren’t even on par with the Duke of York, who, as recently as a year ago, was meeting with Trump and Nagini to discuss a new trade treaty.

      • KellyRyan says:

Eric Trump removed both a photo of Bill and Chelsea and his negative comments when tweet after tweet was posted with Melania and D, Epstein and Maxwell in the same photo with the comment, “Your dad cheated on all of his wives which includes your mother.”

      • Also Ali says:

        @lightpurple 👏👏👏 thank you

      • Lightpurple says:

        @AlsoAli, you’re welcome.

@KellyRyan, some of those pictures posted in response to Eric included pictures of Maxwell with his own mother.

The Trumps are trying to deflect from the involvement of themselves and their circle by screaming about the Clintons. Don’t fall for it. Again, if Clinton was involved, then to prison he should go, butt that does not excuse or justify Trump’s very obvious involvement and the fact that Epstein died while in the care and custody of President Donald J. Trump, for which we the taxpayers are financially liable to any family he had.

      • (TheOG) jan90067 says:

@Kelly, Gums posted that pic because Ghislaine Maxwell was in the background in that pic of Bill walking Chelsea down the aisle at her wedding. He got soundly trounced by Seth Abramson’s put down remark about #TraitorTangerineTwitler’s cheating on all of his wives, incl. Gum’s mother.

    • Eugh says:

I don’t have a dog in this game, but saying the Clintons are “as bad as Republicans” is infuriating. It’s not eve close, even if you include accusations. Your false equivalencies, your purity tests is why people cannot see the forest through the trees.

  4. Neners says:

So she was just bopping around New Hampshire this whole time? Moron.

    • Ellen Olenska says:

Seriously, why not go someplace w a no extradition treaty?!

      • Betsy says:

        Arrogance.

      • Neners says:

        Isn’t this Rich Criminal 101?

      • H says:

This was my thought. I hate her and hope she rots, but how smug can you be when you have millions and you don’t flee to a country that doesn’t extradite with the US? I hope she likes jail, she’s going to die there.

    • Edna says:

Amazing isn’t it that she was arrested here in the U.S. Her white privilege allowed her to be arrogant enough to buy property through a shell company and set up shop right under the Feds noses.

      • Neners says:

Privilege makes people stupid. One of the 50 million examples of that.

      • ODIE says:

I watch a lot of American Greed. Maybe Barr told her she’d be safest here where he has control of the DoJ, so she went along with it to appear to appease him. If you’d heard about a woman killed in a bear attack, or whatever, in rural NH you’d not have made the connection to Epstein. He probably planned that kind of thing and planted the stories about her being in Paris. Yeah, I think he might have told her she’d be protected, but she got really paranoid alone in the woods (she sounds like she’s already paranoid) and desperately made a deal. Imagine holding the darkest secrets of such powerful men and worrying about what they might do? She was probably BEGGING to get witness protection. I’m sure Barr is poo’ing his pants.

  5. Darla says:

Kaiser I don’t know if that’s true about Barr, but I am doubtful. I only saw it in that one tweet too, and I don’t know who that is. Plus, Barr was in NH yesterday? I don’t think so. I hate when people tweet irresponsible things like that. Someone tweeted that in my TL too, and I was like, do you have a freaking source? It’s just so annoying.

    • anon says:

You clearly don’t seem to know what Barr is capable of…. He visited Epstein too.

      • Darla says:

Wrong. All I said was that I have seen no evidence or even reporting that he was in NH yesterday. Quite a leap you made.

      • anon says:

Not a leap, I’m saying there is precedent for Barr doing visit in similar circumstances in this very same case. And he did visit Epstein.

      • Darla says:

I agree he is capable, I would just like to see some reporting about his being in NH and I have not. He will probably get to her in NY.

      • Ashipper says:

I saw some talk of this on Twitter yesterday and I felt that it was debunked. I’m sure he’s trying to find ways to keep her quiet though. (Side note: I like your moxie, Darla!)

      • (TheOG) jan90067 says:

This case has been handed to EDNY (Brooklyn), and put in the Corruption Unit, which usually doesn’t handle cases like this.

I’ve also read Barr is trying to oust the Atty and put his own patsy in there to “oversee” things. Guess he wants to make sure he can shut down the cams before he tries to “Epstein” Maxwell.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

It would be nice if we could at least stick to information that is documented.

    • Trillion says:

I’m w/ you Darla. Not citing drives me up a wall and I’d love to think progressives are better at this than the other side.

    • The Recluse says:

Sounds like he requested a meeting. Doesn’t necessarily mean that he was in NH. Perhaps he was planning on a meeting in NY?

  6. Suzieq359 says:

This isn’t about any political party. This is about power and money.

And yes, Trump was friends with the Clintons for years. Chelsea and Ivanka were best friends for a very long time. Trump said decades ago that if he ever ran for president he would run as a Republican because their followers were stupid. He and his family had been registeted Democrats. But best believe there are sick pedos on both sides. Money and power talks. Everyone is just hoping she doesn’t. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. The Feds will be able to say they arrested her but I don’t think there will be justice for the victims. There’s too much at stakes for Trump, Clintons, Gates, Royal Family,Hanks, Spielberg and so many others who have ties to Epstein.

    • Darla says:

“Trump said decades ago that if he ever ran for president he would run as a Republican because their followers were stupid. ”

False, Trump never said that. This has been passed around the internet and it is 100% false and never happened.

Also your list of people who have “ties” to Epstein is disingenuous. This is exactly how trump is being protected. Not everyone who ever met Epstein or even everyone who accepted a lift on his private plane, are involved in hurting girls. Getting rides on the private planes of wealthy people is pretty common place among politicians, celebrities, etc. It doesn’t mean anything until there is something else. Let’s stick with the men who stand accused. Trump stands accused. Dershowitz stands accused. Prince Andrew stands accused. Stop muddying the waters.

      • Darla says:

Oh, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson stands accused.

Bill Gates, Tom Hanks, and others? Do not stand accused.

      • Christy says:

Thank you for keeping it focused Darla.

      • The Recluse says:

Epstein ‘collected’ famous people either because of money or influence or because some people like being seen hobnobbing with the famous at public events.
Even John Cleese and his wife are in Epstein’s phone book, but that doesn’t mean they had much of anything to do with him. Take most of those names with a grain of salt and be grateful you weren’t famous enough that some lowlife like Epstein wanted to ‘collect’ you and get his picture taken with you. We all should be grateful for that. Humble anonymity has its unexpected advantages.

    • Sarah says:

What’s this about Hanks? Say it ain’t so! Uggggghh.

      • anon says:

There’s a fake black book of Epstein’s contacts with names of liberal people supposedly associated with Epstein that the right-wing has put circulating on the internet about a month ago to counter the real black book. It could be from that?

  7. Eleonor says:

I wonder if she will live long enough to start singing…

    • Ripley says:

I keep seeing people saying, “She did not die by suicide.” I don’t think she’s going to die by suicide, I think she’s going to get COVID-19 and go quickly. I’ll be shocked if she makes it to two months alive.

  8. Christina says:

The report about AG Barr isn’t substantiated, but it wouldn’t be surprising to anybody who has followed this closely.

MCV, the science people wanted money. When I think of the women scientists who were invited to those eugenics parties without their knowledge about the true reason why they were there, I feel for them. The male scientists strike me as listening to a weirdo for the money. For others, it was the place to be because of the power.

I don’t think that all of them were screwing kids, but I do think that the business people probably were. I put Bill Gates into the “science” group, but Trump, Bill Clinton, any of the people who flew the Lolita Express? I sure hope that Maxwell has evidence and is willing to talk and out those bastards before she “commits suicide”. Pedophiles are vulnerable to other inmates in correctional facilities. For the sake of the survivors, I hope that the prosecutor is able to keep Maxwell alive long enough to get them some justice so that the civil lawsuits are determined in their favor. Epstein’s brother hopefully won’t be able to protect all that money if Maxwell comes clean.

Many of the “science group” as you call them have had access to girls via Epstein too. Elon Musk’s brother is one example. The island was not the only place where girls were exploited!

      • Christina says:

Apologies to all of you, because sex with children IS rape. But Epstein made a lot of money, and I don’t think that he was only dealing in children.

There have been reports about women who were of age working for him, and that is where the many, many powerful men who wanted to safely use prostitution for their kinks, like Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, and Elon Musk’s brother, who I did not know about, come into play. Trump was openly using prostitutes, and, based on his proximity to Epstein and his history of womanizing and using his power to pressure women into sex, it looks like Clinton was also using of-age prostitutes with Epstein because Epstein looked legitimate to a lot of people. The finance world didn’t know Epstein as a financier, but Vanity Fair and major publications covered and discussed him as one.

Epstein was a pimp of children AND of grown women, and he provided gilded cover to rich and powerful men. This didn’t blow up because of the women who consented to have sex for money. The pedophilia is why this has come out, but a lot of powerful men felt safe buying prostitutes from Epstein because none of us regular people knew that Epstein was a pimp or a pedophile.

    • Sarah says:

      “Screwing”? It is rape.

      • BL says:

@sarah, thank you. I was going to say that.

      • Sarah says:

“Screwing kids” or “underage women” as some outlets use is RAPE. Full stop. No explanation with BUT should come after the apology for using the words you chose.

  9. Call_me_al says:

    This is better than fireworks!

  10. Darla says:

I mean, Google Katie Johnson. Is it true? It all fits with what we know of Epstein, and Trump, and their friendship. A lotta people like to throw around the Clinton name, but it was Trump who fired Berman in the SDNY two weeks ago. Add in Dershowitz. Add in Bill Barr’s father:

“Donald Barr was headmaster of the elite Dalton School from 1964 to 1974.During his time as Dalton’s headmaster, Barr is alleged to have had a role in hiring Jeffrey Epstein as a math teacher despite Epstein having dropped out of college and being only 21 years old at the time. In 1973, Donald Barr published Space Relations, a science-fiction novel about a planet ruled by oligarchs who perform child sex slavery. It has been noted that Epstein’s crimes are similar to the plot of Barr’s novel.”

I smell something and it ain’t Eau de Clinton.

If Bill did something here, I will be the first to cheerlead his downfall and punishment. But stop comparing him to Trump, in fact, stop comparing anyone to Trump. Trump’s a monster. Trump might as well literally be the devil. Don’t you people grasp this yet??

    • anon says:

Darla, the trolls are out and will be making noise for a while. The next few days will be a cesspool of disinformation.

    • Jaded says:

This is just republican pond scum coming to the surface, pay it no mind. Bill Clinton was/is a notorious womanizer but bedding teenage/pubescent girls against their will was never his thing. Yes Hillary has turned a blind eye to his peccadilloes (Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, et al) but their marriage was never really based on “twue wuv”, it’s more an intellectual/meeting-of-minds kind of arrangement and that’s what’s endured.

    • Hoot says:

“… stop comparing him to Trump, in fact, stop comparing anyone to Trump. Trump’s a monster. Trump might as well literally be the devil. Don’t you people grasp this yet??”

@Darla: I am with you 110% on this. “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” lays out just how possible it really is. Facts don’t lie.

  11. Abby says:

I really hope that she stays alive long enough to name names and I really hope our justice system does the right thing for these girls.

I don’t have a lot of faith in either of these things. Too many powerful and rich people involved.

  12. Elena says:

Trump and his dead-eyed wife look really happy in that photo with the paedo rapists.

    • Ponchorella says:

Melania must have been thrilled when Epstein was around. It meant she got the night off.

  13. Jo says:

Of all the men involved in this why is she the only one to have charges brought on her? I’m not sure what evidence there is or how this actually works, but it is something I am thinking about. Also, I hope she narcs all these gross, wealthy men before their hired hitmen get her.

    • Tana says:

Because she’s a facilitator. Without her help a lot of the trafficked and raped girls would not have been available to those men. There’s a point where as heinous and sick making those men were, that the fact that a woman, someone maybe those girls trusted to tell their problems to, groomed them and provided them on demand to paedophiles and rapists. (I separate the words because there’s a difference between being attracted to children and actually procuring them and grooming them and raping them)

They need her to help make charges against the men, I think they’re hoping she’ll roll over since she was at the very top of the pyramid, the scheme would not have happened without her or would have happened on a much smaller scale. She’s vile. Absolutely vile.

    • ODIE says:

Her charges are more serious than the charges against a man who raped a girl brought to him by her. There’s not much (only serial killing/mass murder or murder with firearm) that is higher stakes, legally, than trafficking a child across countries for profit from their sexual assault. It is so rarely convicted and they wouldn’t have brought her in unless they had it more than nailed shut since the AG is acting like he’s her personal defense attorney. Hopefully, she can identify some of the people who rape kids while she’s around. I also like to think that a lot of the powerful people Epstein and Maxwell ingratiated themselves time, who have had their names dragged into this, are livid, disgusted, and influential enough to use their powers for good. Naomi Campbell is very angry about it. If Naomi + Gates had a bone to pick with me, I’d ask the FBI if they had a free cell when I might be safe.

  14. Hyrule Castle says:

Please add a trigger warning to your header

    😰

    • Allie says:

Why would it need a trigger warning? The headline is quite clear in what to expect.

      • BL says:

While the headline does give us an idea about what’s next, it certainly doesn’t outline any details. I think there needs to be a trigger warning too. Anytime rape is being talked about, especially with minors, there should be a trigger warning.

  15. Mez says:

Sadly I doubt any of the big fish will be brought down by this.

  16. Chelly says:

I haven’t watched the docu-series on Netflix, haven’t had the stomach. But years of Law & Order SVU has prepared me for such a case. But, this isnt a 1 hour tv show where the victims get justice & the rich & powerful fall fast & hard. But these victims needs justice, & these monsters need consequences

  17. Tone says:

    I agree.

  18. Mtec says:

Only until 1997? I hope they’re eventually able to charge her with the crimes committed long after that as well.

  19. Ennie says:

I hope some of the other 4 or 5 enabler women down the hierarchy Fall, too.

    • Kriseth says:

      Same.

It’s just awful how Ghislaine (and likely these women) normalized the abuse for girls who wouldn’t know any better. When I read that, my heart broke.

    • anon says:

They are being investigated too. One of them is being paid by the Trump campaign as a fund raiser…

  20. Summer says:

I really, REALLY hope that they have a guard with her at all times, just staring at her, arms crossed, not blinking.

    • Hoot says:

Yes… someone whose is not “sleep deprived,” or “overworked,” or any of those other words they used to describe people who were to have been doing that with Epstein.

  21. Country Bumpkin says:

I have a tinfoil hat theory that is far fetched but stranger things have happened. In the articles I read yesterday they stated the FBI has known where Ghislane has lived for the last 8 months. What if the FBI has been interviewing and gathering evidence for this case for months. The FBI does not have to share information with DOJ and the courts in NY they have sealed all the information gathered. This way if Ghislane either commits suicide or dies from Coronavirus they can still release information. Like in the movies as she has nothing to lose if the information is released is like scorched earth for the people named. I feel Barr will do what is necessary to keep all information under wraps.

  22. Oare Azenabor says:

I hope she gets her comeuppance. She’s a vile and despicable woman.

  23. Oliviajoy1995 says:

So is she going to implicate Prince Andrew? That’s my question.

  24. Hildog says:

    @Darla: PREACH!!!!!!!
