Please don’t treat Kanye West’s political crap like it’s something new! The past four years of Kanye have been completely awful because of his MAGA-ness and public love for Donald Trump. Trump was so thirsty for any kind of validation from any celebrity, he used Kanye for a series of stupid photo-ops. The problem was that Kanye is some kind of true believer in Trump, as he’s made clear in many interviews, tweets and public statements. Kanye is also a true believer in himself and his own twisted worldview, which is how we’re getting this:

Kanye is not running for president. It’s too late for him to run as any party’s candidate, and it would be electoral chaos to try to add him to the ballots. What he’s doing is looking for attention. She’s not actually in Law School. She’s studying for the Bar. There are whispers she took the Baby Bar exam last week. I heard she was allowed to take the test at home because of Covid-19 restrictions (not sure how factual this is though).

Can someone explain to a non-American why you are afraid he will steal votes from Biden? I thought he was clearly a Republican leaning person and Trump supporter. Why will potential Biden voters be likely to vote for him?
Americans have a horrible history of voting for celebrities with no political qualifications, and right now there’s a real danger of young voters deliberately throwing away their votes as a protest.
Americans don’t recognize voting as an actual civic duty required to maintain a democracy. Combined with the voter suppression aimed at poverty and minority groups, it’s really not a surprise people like McConnell and Trump maintain power and get into office in the first place. Roughly a third of the country’s population is basically making decisions for everyone.
I know several people in their 30’s who feel no candidate speaks to them and simply doesn’t and hasn’t voted. Only person I know they voted for was Obama.

It is very annoying that the media treats this as some kind of “breaking news” as if it’s a real story instead of what it really is. Another one of Kanye’s delusions of grandeur and random ideas he will absolutely not follow up on. He is most likely unmedicated and this is probably a symptom of his bipolar disorder or other psychological issue that has not been diagnosed.
Someday he is going to do something or say something that even Kim won’t be able to vaguely support. I’ve always wondered what it would take for her to actually divorce him because there is no way she could ever live full-time with him constantly. Third party candidates were instrumental in beating Hillary in 2016. All Kanye has to do is get write-in votes to damage Biden. Most likely this is what his “spiritual awakening” has been about–building a base of voters from evangelical African-Americans. Kanye has been working for Trump all along. Isn’t it miraculous that he went from being $53 million in debt in 2016 and turned that around in three plus years into becoming a billionaire? What a talent, am I right?
