He directed Gone, Baby, Gone, which I thought was an amazing movie and extremely well done. Damon is the better actor by far (or at least picks far better scripts) but I think the combination of the two of them was what led to Good Will Hunting being as good as it was. Maybe I can't appreciate the artistic quality of it but it dragged. Good Will hunting was a great movie because Robin Williams turned in a fantastic performance. Definitely worth watching. Matt's talented, but this is definitely a bit too young to be given a lifetime achievement award. His body of work to date is the Bourne Trilogy and The Ocean's Trilogy, I think there are better actors with a more acclaimed roles/performances would deserve this more. @ Celebitchy, Gerry is a really haunting thought-provoking film.
