Prince William did a documentary about his keenness for the environment

Britain's Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge speak to employers, at the London Bridge Jobcentre, in London

Prince William is such a wannabe Hollywood type. That’s why there’s so much barely contained rage at the fact that Prince Harry married an actress and ended up moving to California – that was one of William’s dreams too, to run away and be a middle-class bloke who hangs out with celebrities. William has always fancied himself a PR genius and a natural on camera, like his mother. He is not. William’s not bad on camera, but he just doesn’t have his mother’s (or his brother’s) natural ease with people or natural ease on camera. So… William took part in a documentary about the environment. It’s called Prince William: A Planet For Us All. Here’s the trailer:

It looks… okay. It looks like it’s less about the environment than it’s about Prince William talking about how HE loves the environment.

Prince William, 38, gave royal fans a huge look into his private life when the Duke of Cambridge was joined by a film crew two years ago to record his search for ways to protect the natural world for the ITV documentary Prince William: A Planet For Us All. The documentary, which will be aired next month, said Prince William has “always loved nature”. The Duke added fatherhood has given him “a new sense of purpose”.

William meets people in the UK and abroad who are playing their part in protecting and restoring the environment during the programme, according to Kensington Palace. It also charts his journey from being passionate about conservation to wanting to play a greater global leadership role on the environment, they added.

The Prince also said that his children – George, seven, Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Louis – have had an impact on his views. He said: “Now I have got George, Charlotte and now Louis in my life – your outlook does change. You want to hand over to the next generation, the wildlife in a much better condition.”

William added: “I always believe it is possible to give young people hope and belief that things can get fixed. I have the belief that if we all work together, we can make a difference.”

[From The Daily Express]

Reader, I laughed: “It also charts his journey from being passionate about conservation to wanting to play a greater global leadership role on the environment…” LMAO. So, it charts his journey from being keen about the environment to being keen to be seen as an environmental leader. And William name-checking his children in his environmental/conservation work is nothing new. I’ve started to realize that fatherhood is basically the only card he plays when talking about mental health, the environment, sports, whatever. At least he’s not saying “we need to save the environment for MY children specifically,” which is what he used to do. He’s started to make it more general – the environment should be saved for all kids (but mostly his).

This one time, at band camp.

    • Elizabeth Regina says:

Oh dear. Wasn’t it a few weeks ago that he took his son shooting? Way to protect and preserve the natural world indeed! His privilege, laziness and lack of self awareness is astounding. And as for Kate, why on earth can’t she enunciate! Lord help the monarchy.

      • Sarah says:

        Same!

Also am I being snobby if I question it being on ITV? Don’t get me wrong, I love their Poirot re-runs and Corrie has to live somewhere but it doesn’t scream prestige environmentalism.

      • February-Pisces says:

ITV is really only watched by old people at this point. My mum is in her 60s and absolutely only watches BBC and ITV, she doesn’t go beyond that. It’s completely dead in terms of original content, I can’t remember the last good drama they did. BBC does a better job, although I tend to watch on i player. It’s classic baby boomer TV which is perfect for williams core fanbase lol.

  2. Lemons says:

    Who OK’d the title?

    Singular Person: World Population
    ….That’s not how colons work.

  3. Kalana says:

Safaris are great, guys! Let’s not ruin the planet so my kids can really enjoy their vacations when they get older. Do you want to see pictures from my Out of Africa party?

Do you want to see pictures of my “lion” costume?

They should interview Hague who led William’s conservation “work” and find out what he did besides hand out books of stickers to kids on planes.

What does William do to be environmentally responsible in the UK? Are their mansions environmentally friendly? Do they offset their carbon footprint? Anything?

And why has Earthshot been shelved for this year? The traveling was already environmentally totally wasteful so just hand out the prizes over Zoom.

    • Amy Bee says:

Yeah, this push to save wildlife in Africa is nothing but him wanting to carry his family on safari in Kenya and South Africa some day. If he was truly in love with nature, he’d stop hunting and using his helicopter.

      • Harper says:

Nah, not his family. Just going on safari with his dream girl Jecca, living in a house somewhere in Kenya ala Meryl Streep in Out of Africa. Does anyone think Kate is part of his African dream life? He goes there to get away from her and the kids, it seems.

      • bamaborn says:

Harper,,,I needed that laugh today! 😅

  4. NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

Legitimate question: What do we actually know about William’s love of nature? What has he done for conservation efforts in the UK or anywhere else in Europe?

Being out in nature is typically a fun and relaxing event. William acts like he hasn’t been outside for a relaxing walk since before he was born. I mean I’ve had wooden clocks that were less upright and stiff. Since he loves nature so much, maybe Kate can pitch a tent for Wills to get him to be less of a dick.

    • Jess says:

honestly, charles has done more for the environment that william ever has. all i know about william and anything that is related to the environment is that he hunts for fun…so basically not much.

    • Zapp Brannigan says:

We know he loves shooting at nature, that grouse won’t hunt itself.

    • Nyro says:

He’s trying to hop onto his father’s environmental legacy but without doing the work, taking the hits, or displaying any real passion.

      • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

You’d think “Pa” would be more willing to coordinate this rollout instead of everyone stumbling in the dark…

      • Becks1 says:

Pa is probably annoyed because he announced some sort of streaming platform yesterday related to the environment (or just a series of shows about climate change?) and this announcement is probably seen as stepping on his news cycle.

    • Becks1 says:

I think William sees “the environment” and “nature” as things outside the UK. Like I think he is very passionate about preserving land in Africa so he can go on safari, but I don’t think it trickles down in his head to his every day life. Or if it does, he doesn’t think about his actions, its “other people” who need to change.

      • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

I guess Wills thinking about someone other than himself is out.

      • Becks1 says:

        @NotsoSimple – always, unfortunately, lol.

      • Monday says:

I think he got involved because jecca was crazy about and she even married the cambriges conservation professor. Remember his 21 birthday is africa theme where he completely ignored Kate and be with jecca

  5. equality says:

If he is so keen on conservation and his children being involved in preservation, why did he take George on one of their basically “canned” pheasant hunts? Those pheasants are basically “farmed” at the expense of other predator species.

    • booboocita says:

Oh, thanks! I’ve always wondered how it is that pheasant hunts are (apparently) such common events in England. I would have thought that pheasants would be extinct in England by now, given the indiscriminate killing. But if they’re farmed and regularly replenished, that explains a lot.

One of my favorite movies is Gosford Park, which features a pheasant shoot at a large estate in England in 1932. The killing of those poor birds was ridiculous, with everyone shooting at anything that flew.

      • Becks1 says:

That’s one of my favorite movies too! Kristin Scott Thomas and Maggie Smith are both awesome in it .

  6. Jess says:

aaaaand no one is going call out this bald manchild a hypocrite for environmental hypocrisy. watch them praise this while he flies around in his helicopter and private planes.

    • Rebecca says:

      This.

No discussion about he and his family’s regular use of private aircraft? No acknowledgment of the FlyBe stunt that certainly didn’t save the environment? No words about the use of the helicopter? His hunting trips?

You say you want us all to work together to save the environment. Okay – you first, William.

    • bamaborn says:

The answer to your question…no they will not call attention to any of this. Hypocrisy is their middle name.

    • CatWomen says:

Looks like he’s working on his bald situation.

  7. Merricat says:

The title makes it sound as though William is giving us the world as a gift, which is hilarious to me because I think he probably sees it that way on some level.

  8. Monday says:

If he care abt environment why he has third child which is burden to taxpayer money and have the nerve to lecture African about birth control and even in uk many parents dont have benefits from govt when they have third child. His wife jet off across uk for 5 lame question survey. He is hypocrites and no one in uk watch these because cambridge fans are right wing and they are known to deny climate change. Only international keenbriges fans will watch and fawn over Twitter because they are dumb as brick like Kate.

    • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

A professor said something in Danish that made me laugh about the English (I don’t mean to offend anyone from the UK): “The world is an Englishman’s oyster but he’s too busy choking on the shell because he didn’t think to ask the locals how to eat it and thinks he discovered it.” I feel this aptly applies to William. He wants to be king. He doesn’t want to learn how to be king, he just wants to be loved without putting in the work. He wants to be king and he wants to be king now and he’s genius while there is something clearly wrong with the rest of us for not understanding him.

      • janey says:

I’m English and I think that’s hilarious. it also perfectly describes my father-in-law (Scottish).

      • Sarah says:

Also English (well, half but have mostly lived here), also agree 100%.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

@ NotSoSimpleTaylor, please thank the professor for me!! That was brilliant!! Of course, if Wilileaks cared that much for the environment, why don’t you downsize, drive an electric car and pay for your carbon footprint? Hell, you could pay your brother for the restoration fees for Frogmore Cottage and all of you could live there? There is zero need for a 22 room apartment, which the taxpayers paid heavily for your remodel! Where as, Frogmore Cottage had already been approved for a renovation due to ongoing structural needs. But add a couple million to Harry and Meghan since they did pay for the extensive kitchen and bathroom renovations to their liking and paid for all of the hardware. What a hypocrite, a buffoon and a raging angry pinhead!

      • Likeyoucare says:

Why do i feel that william is kanye 2.0 but with medication and people around him ready to cover his shits.
Kanye need to be sorrounded by william handlers.

      • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

I don’t think William is Kanye. No one would have been able to keep a secret on that for this long. Someone would have said something to the media long ago and I don’t think he’d be allowed out if that were the case. Personally, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if someday William announced that he’s on the low-moderate side of autism spectrum. That’s the only way I can explain why a 40 year old man has been freaking out like a child over Harry’s departure in the media and why he’s always a bit…different. I know it’s been speculated his great grandfather (George VI or V?) was autistic and so was one of George’s brothers. But at the end of the day, Wills is just an emotionally stunted and has attachment issues. I think growing up as heir in that kind of cold aristocratic house is a special kind of child abuse. Whatever way William is, Queen Elizabeth and Charles made him that way. No child would ever be able to thrive in that kind of environment.

      • Becks1 says:

Maybe there is something there with William, and that’s why there is such an emphasis on mental health, but really I just think he’s a spoiled entitled brat who has never had to grow out of that. He’s never had a job where he could be fired, or even get in trouble for being late. He’s never had to worry about money. He’s never really had anyone tell him no. He lives in this privileged bubble where he has literally been told his whole life that he is better than everyone else because of his birth.

      • Nic919 says:

He’s more like Trump than Kanye. William is just not as openly vulgar but they are both spoiled brats who have never faced real consequences in their lives.

      • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

@Nic Bullseye. I watched the first season of The Boys on Amazon. I get the same vibes from William that I get from Homelander. He’s creepy.

  9. Züri says:

That lead-in picture is pure gold.

    • Lady2Lazy says:

@ Zuri, yes!! A picture speaks a thousand words, correct? Well, in Wilileaks case, it spews a thousand dats at H&M for living the life that he wants and a brother that he has been jealous of for decades! Harry is the true Prince as he is a true warrior of humility, self awareness, dignity, charm, charisma and a person who is the Prince of The People! Wilileaks. You will never be a Prince of The People.

    • Bella DuPont says:

Plus, am I the only one who noticed the carpet he has on his chest?!

    • Züri says:

@Lady2Lazy: yep! @BellaDuPont: holy shit, I cannot unsee that now. Never noticed it before. Maybe because I always had to look away and couldn’t get below his bottom teeth? @Feeshalori: A good “job” for his lady.

  10. Myra says:

“Look at me! Look at me!” I can imagine the reaction if the title was ‘Duchess of Sussex: A Planet for Us All’. All the racists in England and beyond would have received their bat-signal to come out from the UK press.

    • Kalana says:

It’s a crazy title. It’s so self-aggrandizing but William hasn’t done anything yet. He has no environmental accomplishments and can’t even speak well on the subject.

  11. Mumbles says:

ITV runs “Spitting Image” which mocks the Royal Family. I seriously doubt the stories that the RF is pissed about the Netflix deal because of “The Royals” and the Diana musical…but to the extent that there is any truth to it, this is the counterpoint.

  12. 809Matriarch says:

1 comment – Hmm he can juggle. Meh.

  13. RoyalBlue says:

The only environmental thing Willieleaks is passionate about is rose bushes. 38, privileged, envious and unkind. His childminders and PR team are rehabilitating his character and shaping his image as they did with Charles.

  14. Smices says:

Is this the documentary he tried to sell to Netflix?

  15. Nyro says:

Let me just say that I still can’t understand a word Kate says. Also, this is going to flop. Who’s going to watch this? Who is his audience? Where are his actual stans? Not Meghan and Harry haters but actual William lovers? Where are they?

    • Mtec says:

Right!? She speaks like she has marbles in her mouth. Can’t understand a thing. If i were her I would ask for a refund for all those posh-speaking lessons she got

    • Sparky says:

I couldn’t be arsed to look at the intro as merely watching Will declare that he’s keen about something was not enough motivation. When I read your comments about Kate, I decided to have a listen. As Kate can be bashed quite a bit on this site I wasn’t sure to expect. Good grief!! You guys are 1000% correct. She is completely unintelligible!!

    • Korra says:

It is funny, because it seems some people (RE: Americans) really like William and Kate’s posh-sounding accents…but I don’t think they are actually listening to their words. If you actually did, they both don’t enunciate. William in particular tends to drop off enunciation towards the end of his sentences. But since both are white, they will be seen as “classy and regal” by certain groups of people.

      • Waitwhat? says:

They do both sound very upper-class to me, but they don’t have the cut-glass accents that are often associated with the aristocracy (think Maggie Smith or Kristen Scott Thomas in Gosford Park, as another poster mentioned). Instead they have south-eastern English pronunciation (what people talk about when they say RP, or “Queen’s English” if they’re super-old-fashioned) with long vowel sounds (which is quite posh) and absolutely no rhotic /r/. This is where you pronounce an /r/ after a vowel; so for William and Kate, walk, talk and fork all rhyme. This can sound weird/posh in the US as pretty much all North Americans do have a rhotic /r/ – the only ones who don’t are New Englanders (think Boston, or southern Maine – Baa Haabaa).

I think these two factors can make it sound as though they’re not enunciating, but they don’t elide their words a lot, really. I don’t find either of them difficult to understand but I do think Kate, in particular, sounds quite stiff and cautious. I imagine that William, when he’s in more relaxed surroundings, probably sounds quite like the Hooray Henrys and Henriettas that used to come to study in my hometown and would positively bray at each other across the street. Now *that* is obnoxious!

  16. Aurora says:

Someone on twitter pointed out he’s wearing the same shirt in all the scenes indicating he probably filmed them all the same day.

  17. Amy Bee says:

If there weren’t the subtitles, I would have had a difficulty understanding him in the promo. People always talk about not understanding Kate when she speaks but the same goes for William. From the promo, the documentary is less about nature and the environment and more about William “the global statesman”. Just watching this promo, I believe the stories about him being jealous of Harry and angry about the Netflix deal. Harry has done so many documentaries over the years and has been successful at it, William wants the same.

    • L4frimaire says:

They’re both so mumbling. I can never understand her. She has some weird verbal tics and he sounds bored all the time.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

@ L4frimaire, I couldn’t understand a word that Kate spoke. Is this from her transformation from Unable to TQ speaking? If so, who the hell knows what TQ is saying? I wonder if her children understand her? What mummy? What did you say? I don’t understand you? Would you PLEASE speak English Mummy!!

  18. MF1 says:

I find it hilarious that he named the documentary after himself. Navel gazing much?

  19. Feeshalori says:

I tried watching the trailer but couldn’t get through it. He’s such a pompous ass.

  20. Snuffles says:

I predict this will be one big ego stroke and he will be rightly eviscerated for it.

  21. RoyalBlue says:

    Oh the embiggening of Cain.

Rather than champion global action on conservation and climate change, can’t he focus on UK action on conservation and climate change. Anyone told him they want him trotting around the globe telling other people about conservation. Do you see the emperor of Japan or the king of Lesotho trying to be boss of the world? Stay focused on being king of the UK.

    • Likeyoucare says:

Its like kate the top ceo hahaha. Omg come on guys, will wants his Top CEO too.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

@ Likeyoucare, thank you so much for this comment!! I have been vacillating between gut wrenching grief and boiling anger for the last four/five days. I needed that!!

      • RoyalBlue says:

Tatler can arrange an article for that. tongue in cheek of course.

    • bamaborn says:

No, he can not. Remember, people are talking about Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan in global terms. So there you have it.

      • RoyalBlue says:

Then it’s so obvious how he was groomed to be the bigger son, the elder statesman, the one with the global platform, the one that people would take seriously and yet has found himself getting competition from who else but his younger court jester of a brother. if shakespeare were alive this would be fodder for his next play.

      • Feeshalori says:

Maybe William always thought Harry would be the Falstaff to his Henry the 5th.

      • RoyalBlue says:

        brilliant Feeshalori!

      • Feeshalori says:

        Aw, thanks, Blue!😊

  22. Dee says:

Why hasn’t he taken up a cause close to home, like air quality in London? He could champion a cause that would have a direct effect on the health of his family and his community. Instead, he talk about nature on another continent.

    • Sofia says:

I would love to know what changes he’s actually done in his own home.

Charles has entire sections dedicated to sustainability on his site that talks about the general environmentally changes he’s made to his homes/offices but also a yearly report on how much greenhouse gases his activities is emitting and a comparison to the year before.

      • Lady2Lazy says:

@ Sofia, his changes at home consist of ignoring/blocking the sound and the sight of Keen.
As for Charles, HE is the own making the changes, and has done so for decades. Is Wilileaks hoping that he can cash in CH as the head of Charles’s environmental projects? The money is certainly an influence. I hope that Charles leaves this to Harry and Meghan given that they are true champions of the environment.

      • Becks1 says:

He had a really large hedge installed so people cant see him getting on his helicopter? (hey, hedge = good for the environment, right?)

    • NotSoSimpleTaylor says:

That requires him to exert a considerable amount of effort.

  23. S808 says:

This is very much an ITV documentary, not sure why he bothered with Netflix.

  24. Lizzie says:

Was this filmed 2 years ago and has been sitting waiting to find anyone to air it?

  25. What eating you says:

This documentary looks like a parody of what an actual documentary is meant to look like. Also major eye roll to Mr. incandescent with rage, after two years this is all you have to offer? Even his cheese influencer father was doing more at his age.

    • Shirley Gail says:

When I was in England, I tasted the BEST cheddar cheese I ever had in my life and it was from Prince of Wales, Duchy of Cornwall. I forget what it’s properly called, but OMG it was so delicious I was (very literally) drooling….

  26. Feeshalori says:

He’s still in competition with Harry. “See, see, l can do documentaries too!”

    • L4frimaire says:

Exactly this! He doesn’t want to stick to his lane, which by the way is a very big lane if he appreciated it. I remember the haters throwing the insult that Meghan will never be queen but Kate will, as of that means something. However, William is the one who wants to be this media guy, celebrity type, not king. The figure head, statesman gig doesn’t interest him, beyond the access and trappings. He and Kate, on the taxpayers coin, just want to go to galas, make a few anodyne speeches, show up on tv and be part of the global influencers set. However they don’t have that magic and chemistry that the Sussexes have. Will is so enraged about the Sussexes Netflix deal because he sees the attention and money they’re getting and thinks it’s due just to their royal connections. What he refuses to acknowledge is the work and commitment they put in, and what they have to put up with. Anyway, this film lacks a point of view other than Williams head because he’s not going to advocate for policy changes his government won’t implement, and he doesn’t see it for anything as a way to benefit him and his family. I guess he’ll be part of the next Greta Thunberg photo op.

  27. OriginalLala says:

ugh, such a hypocrite. I just can’t….. The BRF makes me “incandescent with rage”!

  28. Jaded says:

William and Kate have a fleet of cars. Range Rovers, an Audi R8, a Jaguar XJ, a Bentley Flying Spur, and an Aston Martin Db6 Volante. All gas-guzzlers. He is such a fucking hypocrite.

  29. Harper says:

To me, this is Willileaks piggybacking on the popularity of Sir David Attenborough and his wildly popular nature documentaries. It’s very telling that, in that short clip, I believe that is Sir David whom they have included, with Kate mumbling that her kids will be jealous of her meeting him as they are massive fans. The trailer also uses a short clip of what I believe may be Attenborough’s well-recognized, distinguished voice. It’s akin to doing that cooking special with Mary Berry. Just another example of Will/Kate’s “work” that is really talking to/attaching their names to high-profile, well-respected, and accomplished celebs as a means of self-promotion.

    • Bibi says:

      @Harper
I mean we all knew they do nothing but piggyback. What baffles me though is how Kate still can’t speak a lick of sense. There’s something seriously wrong with her. No one can be that devoid of self-awareness.

  30. Jay says:

If only there were some family members who could hook him up with a sweet Netflix deal for his little project.

  31. Lauren says:

I can’t stand him. Maybe he and his family should use up fewer resources if they want to make a difference.

  32. Caroline says:

I find it interesting that Willy filmed this two years ago and it’s only now coming out? Did he have this one in the cupboard as a “I need some positive PR, throw this out to the world”.

    • RoyalBlue says:

I am guessing it is simple old footage from a mish mash of previous engagements, hastily put together for a documentary. headlined with his name of course, as if he himself were as vested in it as Attenborough.

    • Lemons says:

I noticed that too…Two years for this is really too long. Especially since in those two years, he hasn’t done anything of note except announce the Earthshot prize.

The documentary should be about him visiting the projects of the finalists, learning more about what they are doing. They could do a whole docu-series or competition. And yet…the Keens don’t have that type of team advising them, and they don’t have the energy and passion to follow through with a project of that scale.

  33. Farfromreality says:

I’ve pitched shows to networks, and I can say with pretty much 100 percent certainty that Netflix, or any of the others, would probably have been quite happy to have this ass attached to a project. The fact that he was turned down by several indicates to me that he didn’t go in with a real concept that had been worked on with someone who knew what they were doing (I.e. a real producer) and refused to take any notes from the people he was pitching to (a newbie mistake that the arrogant frequently make).

    • February-Pisces says:

I’m sure even the most experienced producer would find it difficult to work with this man child. I think he’s too spoilt to actually listen to anyone and let the real professionals do their job. He’s just used to being told yes his whole life and being praised for his mere existence and has no idea that you actually have to work for thing to achieve anything.

  34. aquarius64 says:

So Netflix shot down this documentary? No wonder Billy is hacked off. All the money the Cambridges have are not their own and they resent that people outside the UK admire the Sussexes for making their own way.

  35. Eating popcorn says:

You know, it’s this kind of thing that you realize William & his wife are not really so keen. If my husband were trying to save the planet or anything else – I’d be there alongside him. Unless of course, I was busy doing my own work. These two need to step up their game.

  36. Steph says:

Why did it take 2 years for this? What has he done since to become a leader in environmental protection?

  37. blacktoypoodle says:

The line up of the blue lines on his jacket in the third photo is flawless. Could not care less about William but I would love a “Day in the Life” documentary with his tailor. Or a TED talk. Laying out the pattern to get that line up is no joke. A jacket is a 3-D project starting with a flat pattern. And tailors know secrets. 🙂

  38. Bonsai Mountain says:

Ok, so will he be talking about how the British Empire destroyed the ecosystems in the Commonwealth and how the Empire is in part responsible for the climate insecure futures those countries are now facing? Because, as someone from a former British colony, I’m realllly tired of British documentaries on the environment exhorting the public to return nature to its ‘pristine’ state, where, presumably, there will be no black and brown people, only white tourists frolicking in the sun.

If William is going to be sharing strategies for restoring those places using his ill-gotten wealth, well then, I’m all ears.

  39. CatWomen says:

The clip seems like William trying to imitate Harry.

    • Sid says:

Yup. It is very much “look at me, I can be fun and likeable too! I can juggle! And kids like me! See?!!” I’m not seeing much environment, but I AM seeing a lot of image rehab.

Looks like a dud. And this weird point of Harry distracting from his ‘work’ sounds so much like your mom telling you the other girls are mean because they are jealous. ‘Of course, sir, the public is massively interested in your incredible work, it’s just that annoying Meghan and Harry who are distracting them.’

    • Lizzie Bathory says:

I’m sure that is a big part of being around William. Even in the clip, he gets applauded for juggling. That must really warp someone’s self-perception. “Oh, yes, your Royal Highness! The New York Times was just about to cover your very regal juggling, but mean Meghan stole the spotlight by sitting down with Gloria Steinem!”

I wonder sometimes if they pay people to comment on social media. Will and Kate can do the most mundane things and get outrageous praise.

      • Kalana says:

Karens love Kate’s prissy mediocrity and they also love to prop up mediocre white men. Kate and Will are their role models.

      • February-Pisces says:

One of their ‘fans’ even said they were getting paid to comment. Now the Instagram bots have no where to go, I think they have been buying up a lot of dormant twitter accounts and reactivating them to look legit.

  41. KellyRyan says:

Does he have an audience? 🙂

  42. one of the Marys says:

Perhaps this is meant to build his credibility in this area and if he stays involved eventually he could be a global leader. But at this point I think he’s got a lot of work to do to “get there” and he doesn’t have a good track record.

  43. SilentStar says:

That trailer was a whole lot of saying nothing specific about doing nothing specific set to music.

  44. Feeshalori says:

I’m going to go watch My Octopus Teacher on Netflix now. The trailer was amazing and demonstrates how you effectively showcase the environment. I’d rather see a documentary about a little octopus and a diver befriending than a pompous prince pontificating about the planet.

  45. Mariane says:

what a hypocrite preaching about conservation but going out to kill defenseless annimals. It’ll be another royal documentary that gets no views. I bet Anne’s 70th anniversary one will rack up more views than Normalbill’s PR exercise. I honestly only found out about this through CB just like Kate’s latest event. They barely get articles on DM so I doubt people will tune in to this
