I’ve always thought that Ayesha Curry was cute. She’s Steph Curry’s wife and mother to three children, and she has her own businesses and all of that. For years, her energy was “cute, wholesome NBA wife with judgy stay-at-home mom energy.” But Ayesha has been trying to shake up that energy this year. After deriding other women for posting “thirst trap” type photos, Ayesha has been showing off her weight loss through some very thirst-trappy bikini photos (taken by Steph, but still). And now this… Ayesha is just full-on Becky Blonde now??

Thoughts? I don’t think she looks bad, honestly? What’s freaking me out a little bit is how easily her coloring took to the blonde hair? Like, if you had never seen her with darker hair, wouldn’t you assume that this is closer to her natural hair color? It’s really strange! Steph looks happy to be married to a hot blonde though. yeah, the contacts are too much. between that and the wig/hair, it’s like she’s trying to erase who she is. weird. IMO she looks like Cameron Diaz in those pics. I mean, she IS beautiful both ways, but this reeks of self-loathing.

I think Ayesha Curry is and always has been gorgeous and blessed, but those are also the two reasons she needs to stay in her lane when it comes to how others dress and behave. She is gorgeous thin; she is gorgeous when she’s not as thin (I never saw her as even thick…she was thin, but not as thin as she is now); she is gorgeous with braids, a wig, and her natural hair; she is gorgeous in thirst traps and when she’s in full Mommy-Insta-Influencer mode. And it’s a lot to swallow when someone who can really just be gorgeous and float above the rest of us building businesses and such takes time out of her day to be hateful to other women.
I like her look either way. But she’ll never be a Becky or a Karen because that’s not who she is. Notice how so many Beckys and Chads wear their masks under their noses instead of covering their noses? That’s their defiance showing. They are virtually maskless, because that’s so smart. Like a postcard, “I’m voting for trump.”
Well if you’re gonna show off your new hair color, let us see how it actually looks on you. She’s using filters. Why ? I don’t get it.
