Khai has got good genes and a great name going for her. Lucky child!

  2. Tiffany says:

That top pic of Gigi, I think, is the best she has ever looked. Contentment can give you a glow.

    • minx says:

I was going to say the same. It’s also good she has a close knit family to give her support.

  3. Amanda says:

Pretty name, but I wonder how it’s pronounced?

    • Mrs. Peel says:

      Rhymes with guy.

    • Viva says:

I’m also wondering if the name is pronounced the Arabic way or if the ‘h’ is just to be ignored when pronouncing the name.

      • ME says:

She named her daughter after her grandmother on her dad’s side. Her name was Khairiah. I’m therefore assuming Khai will be pronounced the Arabic way?

I thought the pig and cookie might be references to something else but it was so wholesome and made my heart smile.

  5. Case says:

Very pretty name. Khai Malik has a nice ring to it. I like the inclusion of the “h” in it a lot.

I really need a baby piglet in my life. My goal is a hobby farm where I can care for baby, damaged and older abandoned pets. I found a small cat last month with an abscess that had burst open on the back of her neck. You could seen bone in the hole on her neck. She was sick, could barely walk and was easy to catch. She is now a spayed, healthy and much better little cat. I haven’t tried to find her owner yet, I’m pretty sure she was abused. She now no longer uses both paws to claw your hand after you pet her, and her scary habit of slashing as hard and fast as she could, the minute you turned your back was no fun. She ripped the shoulder out of a t-shirt, took a chunk of hair and blood from my scalp, and I had a perfect imprint of her five claws fester on the inside of my elbow. (that one needed antibiotics) She absolutely flipped out for the first two weeks when you tried to pick her up from the floor, spitting, slashing and biting. Definitely one of the more dangerous lost/stray cats I’ve rescued. She does none of these things now, but I think I’m going to keep her. I just don’t think whoever had her treated her well at all. I really feel torn, because I know I would be devastated if I lost one of my cats.

Aw! Poor baby. If she was that aggressive she probably was a stray or abused. You are so kind to rescue her. You should keep her.

I do like the spelling Kai better but it’s still a nice name, particularly cause she’s named after her grandmother. Khai Malik is a cute name 🙂

    • Doodle says:

Kai is my son’s name. I was hoping it would be unique when we named him but it’s gaining on popularity.

i love this picture. It seems incredibly realistic in an every new mom kinda way. Not look at me in my workout gear trying to get the bounce back body with perfect makeup/hair. Just I’m in comfortable, warm clothes taking a leisurely stroll with my new human, enjoying all of these beautiful moments of new parenthood. My baby strapped to my chest, a big comfy hat and the softest sweater that I own. Love everything about the photo.
