No, they don't. If that's the case, every person, in every walk, must do so. Just because you make your living in front of the public DOESN'T entitle that public to your very soul. Nope, doesn't. Now, if a public OFFICIAL makes or tries to make law restricting other's lives/rights based on orientation, their own life is open for discussion, because they are affecting everyone's life, not just their own. Public singers, actors, dancers, whatevers...not so much. It isn't their job to be a role model. If, IF, they CHOOSE to share, then great, especially if others are helped. BUT, they are not required to do so because their livelihood comes from a public occupation that is usually for ENTERTAINMENT purposes, not for making binding LAW. Just don't believe it's valid nor moral to require it of them. ETA: Actually, I don't think anyone, in any occupation, is required to do so until they choose to do so or if they are in a position to make binding decisions that affect others. It's a HUMAN condition, not an orientation condition. Kids these days are a lot more resilient, divorce doesn't have the stigma it once had(I know more than a few kids who WISH their parents would divorce), and generally provided both parties can remain mature and focused on the kids, break ups are not that traumatic.
