My husband called our insurance company to confirm he could see a psychiatrist under our policy, the cus. service rep at Blue Cross said "yes definitely, this is covered by your co-pay" but guess what? It WASN'T COVERED and cost us 100% more than advised! ($30? no no darling, $300!) And guess what else? When we complained, the insurance company said "tough shit, even though WE TOLD you the incorrect information, it's in your policy. Read it" So yeah, even though PROFESSIONALS could not understand their obligations and explain the facts, we were expected to know them and pay up regardless, otherwise we could sue. America sucks ass:( SO TYPICAL of this fucked up country!
