I actually use those green exfoliating cloths on my face, and they are amazing. I know they’re not appropriate for everyone’s face, but depending on your skin type it may work for you, too. And I toss them in the washing machine and dryer and they come out great. That pack of 12 will probably last me the rest of my life.
@Whatever I used to use them on my face, too, because it made KP on my face practically invisible. The trick is to be gentle, add a bit of cleanser to provide added slip, and moisturize, moisturize. I don’t add soap/cleanser to use on the body and it’s the only thing (combined with moisturizing) that keeps my KP on the back of my arms in check.

Damn it! I was really hoping…so far nothing has helped my hyperpigmentation.
Have you tried the ordinary’s niacinamide serum? I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks caused by acne marks and some sunspots, that serum has been doing wonders on my skin. The dark spots have gotten so much lighter with a month of use. I also use a glycolic acid toner during my night routine to gently exfoliate.
At this point my options are laser or prescription cream and I can’t afford either, but definitely don’t waste your money on this product. No drugstore product has even made a dent for me.

There is a ton of info out there on vitamin c, the best type, fake advertising and how it degrades easily. There are good brands and forms of stable vitamin C out there. You can get retin A at a Canadian drugstore online, you don’t need a prescription and it is very inexpensive. Sunscreen, vit c, BHA and retinol (not all at once) will work over time for hyperpigmentation.
It really is so hard to see results with brown spots!
Sarah — are you on the birth control pill? I had to go off it to really make a dent in my hyperpigmentation. But I have also been lucky enough to do IPL (laser) and skin peels at a derm’s office. And obviously you have to be so religious about staying out of the sun/heat. Even with sunscreen and hats — I still tried not to go out in the 10-3 hours. Best of luck to you. Take care..

I use a lot of the ingredients on this serum separately and they work wonders. Having this serum would have meant not having to buy 3 separate serums, but unfortunately amazon Italy does not carry it and amazon USA does not deliver this to my corner of the planet.
Just a tip on silicone sponges:
I dont use them as sponges, but as soap tray / holders /dish.
The softness doesnt misshape the soap, its elevated so the soap dries and wont sit in water, and the “dish” won’t clack against the sink or fall in the shower or bust into a million pieces.
And its good for using as a nail scrubber or to wash your hands after working in the garden. I like that it also will not get stinky.
Just a recommendation- get the nice colored or shaped silicone sponges as soap dishes.
This is such a great idea! I get sick of having to wash the soap residue off the dish, but I hate seeing it build up. I will have to look for some nice looking sponges and ditch the dishes!

I bought the silicone face scrubber when it was featured here a month or so ago, I like it. Exfoliates as well as my Mia contraption and takes up far less room. I also got the pack with the body exfoliator, it’s not as big as the one featured above, but it works great. The mesh poofs hold so much bacteria no matter how well you rinse them, the silicone ones are much healthier.
I’ve also tried a scrub cloth called Luv Scrub. It’s pretty amazing at exfoliating. My husband won’t use it, said it’s too rough for him. lol I have a lot of scars and sun damage on my legs and it seemed to have faded most of them.
i love those exfoliating washcloths, i try to do it at least every 2 months, my skin is very dry and can’t take it too often.
Harnesses like this with a chest/front clip leash attachment are great for medium size dogs. They are excellent for getting jumpers back down on the ground and preventing dogs from pulling you down the sidewalk. But the clip on the back turns your dog into a sled dog (think Iditarod) so I only recommend using that for small dogs. That handle on the back is useful if you have to make a sudden stop. We have that on our running harnesses.
For large dogs or any leash aggressive dog I highly recommend a head harness. It’s similar to what to is used for horses. You will have to get your dog used to it, but it will not injure your dog like a pinch collar, choke chain, or slip lead will. I say this from personal experience with my own dogs and with multiple dogs in training classes. Make sure you get the head harness that has a safety line that clips on your dog’s collar in case they slip out of it.
Using the harness linked in the article above just depends on the dog’s size and behavior. Please consult with your own trainer or any reputable positive reinforcement information site if you are unsure.

Love the idea of a backlight for TV to reduce eye strain. I had horrible headaches a couple months ago and have been really conscious about that ever since — I have a blue light filter on my computer and phone now and use a warm reading light at night. But I do like watching TV before bed and should probably get something like this.
The Levoit air filter is great! We have two and worked great during the NorCal fires of 2020.
The green scrub cloths are great too! I like to use during a bath. They aren’t too extreme 🙂

The silicone scrub thing is awesome. I don’t think it foams up as much as a pouf, but it does a nice job of getting you clean. I’ve been using a thicker shower gel and it does get stuck in the nubs, so maybe a run through the dishwasher is a good idea.
