Dwayne Johnson got Jason Momoa to record a message for his daughter’s 3rd birthday

Oh to be the child of a parent with connections. Dwayne Johnson’s youngest daughter, Tiana, turned three on Saturday. We all know how Dwayne like his grand gestures, whether it’s surprising his fans or giving his mom houses or his dad or stunt double trucks, he’s not exactly a subtle gift giver. However, I have to give him credit on this one because it’s got a cute backstory. DJ posted a video of where he and Tia are watching Aquaman I think(could be a Justice League movie) and admitted that she adores Aquaman. (Same, Tia. Same.) In one video, DJ asked Tia who was cooler, “Daddy or… “ and before he could finish, she answered, “Aquaman.” Note: DJ is 0 for 2 in getting Tia to pick him in these comparisons. The last time he tried to get her to say he was awesome, Tia went with “Mother” Lauren Hashian instead. DJ also posted a picture of the Aquaman action figure Tia insisted join them for her birthday breakfast. So, when it came time for her big birthday gift, DJ gave her the ultimate – a video message just for Tia and her sister Jasmine from Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa:

The audio is hard to hear but Jas… I mean Aquaman tells both girls he loves them, and he loves their “papa, too.” He also promises they can hang out in the ocean and go rock climbing (which I hope was a pun and actually intended to be Rock climbing) and surfing. It’s very sweet, even if he did insist on wearing a shirt during it. I get it, it would have taken a while to paint the Aquaman tattoos on.

DJ’s caption for the IG post above was:

I had to make the call…it’s what daddy’s do 💪🏾🌺

I can’t thank my brother @prideofgypsies enough for making this adoring 3yr old’s birthday the best EVER. Her reaction is priceless and what it’s all about.

I love you back, uso and this kind of stuff will ALWAYS be the best part of our fame

You epitomize one of my favorite quotes, “It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice”.

Thanks for having my back – I’ll always have yours.

This reminds me of the time Jimmy Kimmel got Tom Holland to talk to his son Billy as Spiderman for his birthday. It must be nice. I wonder what happens when the kid is old enough to figure out it’s just dad’s friend. “Hey, you just got Uncle Jason to call on my third birthday, cheapskate. You still owe me a Barbie DreamHouse!” Kidding. This was perfect and Tia was so excited. There’s only a precious amount of time in which they believe in these kinds of memories so let them have as many as they can. Especially if it means only making a phone call. I think the best I could have ever done for my kids was have my friend call and do his Christopher Walken impression, but my kids had no idea who that is so it wouldn’t have meant much.

Curious about the highchair in the shot. The girls are too old for highchairs, yes? I guess DJ and Lauren are keeping their options open? I would far prefer they focus on their kids and not DJ’s presidential run, which he claims he is still considering, “if this is what the people want.” But what’s scary is, according to some new poll, 46% of Americans may, in fact want it. Or at least consider it. Seriously folks – whoever those 46% are, did we not learn our lesson on this the hardest way possible?
