I saw this video and although she tries to sell it off as her home its really a little resort she bought and I imagine this is her way of marketing it. It is beautiful but a home doesn’t have numbers outside your bedroom door and an official spa. Anyway, she continues to look amazing!

Yep! I lived and worked throughout Kenya on and off for a decade. That’s a luxury resort, not a home.

      • Chelle says:

Yeah. The feel of it is impersonal. Frankly, I’d be so scared that any and all types of animals or people could walk in with that much open access. I’d be afraid to stay there by myself. All night, I’d toss and turn and jump at any and all sounds “what was that? What was that?”

      • Ange says:

I’m sure anything that Naomi Campbell is attached to isn’t just letting random plebs wander around

      • Laura says:

There are all kinds of guards and such outside the doors on the property, even when you sleep, at places like that in Kenya. In my experience, there was always someone outside our accommodations (often armed against the stray lion or whatnot-depending on the location).

    • Amy Bee says:

I didn’t notice the numbers on the doors but she definitely rents it out to people which makes sense. It’s a beautiful place.

Yeah, Architectural Digest does features on celebrities’ offices, fer crissakes! But their job of getting people to hire interior decorators and buy fancy expensive furniture for “offices” is done, I suppose. Celebs get exposure and their privacy. Readers get pretty pictures.

Does not surprise me that Naomi Campbell would figure out how to swing a resort/vacation home. Didn’t Drake just do a song talking about how he only goes to private villas, not resorts? So she rents the whole place out to one person at a times, rather than running it as a hotel. There is probably a maximum amount of time she can spend there to still have it count as a business. She may be a bit cray, but she hasn’t lasted this long by being stupid with her money.

    • CindySaid says:

Ok if it’s her property she can call it her home. Really, who are you to tell her what to call her property. Her HOME is absolutely beautiful!

    • lucy2 says:

Ah, that makes sense, because I was definitely getting a resort vibe, especially with 4 pools, that breakfast area with all the small tables, all the separate buildings, etc. What an absolutely beautiful place though.

After only one episode of “Mare of Easttown” I am very much enjoying it. Winslet is playing it very gritty, I’m tired for the character just watching it.

HBO is hitting its stride again, they go back and forth for me. After months of a lull I’ve enjoyed/enjoying the documentaries “Exterminate all the Brutes” and the still ongoing “Pray, Obey, Kill.”

    • Coji says:

I’m not the biggest Kate Winslet fan but I’m hooked.

    • lucy2 says:

I watched it last night, I’m hooked too. I like Kate as an actress, and it definitely has a very realistic feel to it.

The woodwork in Naomi’s villa resort is absolutely exquisite. The artwork, the textiles, the beddings I love everything. Nut yeah that is a resort that is being rented out to parties of people. The layout of it, the sanifying stations everywhere, the buffet layouts are all indications of a resort.

  4. BW says:

Naomi keeps saying, “This USED to be my room.” “I used to like to sit up here.” She’s not living there. It looks like a hotel with number on the rooms and lots of different tables for different visitors to sit at away from the other renters.

  5. Yeow says:

I was going for this breezy cozy decor & when a super rich person visited they called it “kitsch”
Compared to wealthy…guess us peasants ARE kitsch.
Naomi place IS it tho. If Heaven is of your own making!!!!

  6. Scho says:

I guess Uber Uber wealthy folks travel w an entourage & rent an entire villa?

    • Joanna says:

That’s probably their version of renting a beach house in Florida for vacation lol.

  7. Polly says:

I’m guessing Lady Rose won’t be back for the next Downton Abbey movie since Dominic West has been added to the cast. Interesting casting choice, I must say.

  8. Keri says:

Welcome to our lovely country, Kenya 🇰🇪, everyone. Karibuni sana.

  9. MsIam says:

    Beautiful place! Lucky Naomi!

  10. Bbbbbecky says:

Is there a reason why Megan Fox doesn’t need a mask on her outing?

  11. Meredith says:

I love the AD stuff on YouTube. I’ve been watching a couple of videos every night lately. My favorite has been Dave’s Diggs and Emmy Raven. That house was perfection.

  12. FrenchGirl says:

Why does she talk in past about her habits in there ? She sold it ?
It is beautiful but it looks like a luxury resort

  13. Sarcasm101 says:

This is probably the most stunningly beautiful homes I’ve ever seen. W O W.

  14. Annaloo. says:

What Naomi has done to elevate the countries of Africa to the editorial class, especially Kenya, is amazing. I wouldn’t care if this is a timeshare trailer park, thank someone for putting the spotlight.on the country and the beauty it holds…

Also kudos to Naomi for her championing of young black women as well. Naomi is working overtime to earn her halo, I absolutely love her and make no apologies for doing so 🙂
