Great interview with Megan Fox. I’ve been so impressed with her lately and how articulate and thoughtful she is when talking about sexism in the film/TV industry. Glad she’s speaking up and expanding her public image in this way.

I love her! Forever girl crush.

    • Fleur says:

She’s always been articulate and thoughtful of you go back to years old interviews. Feminism owes her an apology for never having her back. They all judged her for dating Brian Austin Green etc

And she’s funny! Her music on an airplane part made me laugh.

  2. Soupie says:

Agreed, I watched that interview yesterday, I liked her a lot more than I thought I would. And she’s correct, of course.

  3. Sandy says:

I really like machine gun Kelly’s suit! That is a sick purple haze.
Also good for her and speaking up. I still question her choice of men but I don’t know all the facts so I’m just a backseat driver 😂

No doubt, our compliments to the tailor/designer, true artists. Never heard MGK sing but I might see this movie they’re doing.

  4. Case says:

I like Megan a lot. I think she’s a lot smarter and kinder than people assume of her.

Kelly is an awful interviewer though, wow. She never stops interrupting.

    • Kristen says:

God, you’re right. She interrupts ALOT. And interjects with non-stop anecdotes about herself, which is a terrible way to interview, as opposed to building up on the guest’s own personal story and getting them to open up more. Yeesh!

Those pink shorts may convince me to watch men’s tennis.

I made a donation for Archie’s birthday yesterday and my husband just figured it out this afternoon. The conversation went- h:did you make a donation? m-yeah. it was archie’s birthday. h:who? m:archie sussex. h: who? m: archie harrison mountbatten-windsor. h:okay.

I always though Megan beautiful and I always thought she had something different from other dropdead gorgeous babes. She is a smart girl, she had something very spotaneous that I loved about her, but that she probably lost because of all the push back from Hollywood that happened to her. I’m glad she’s back. Very strong and smart woman. And BEAUTIFUL. She has it all.

Miley’s hair is so, so terrible. I can’t believe she’s kept that cut for so long. It’s really unflattering and there’s so many looks she could pull off.

Not only women in position of power, but mothers in position of power. I have had a female boss who was single and childless and she always made it difficult on new mothers, going to pump etc.

    • JeJoKo says:

I have the same experience. Just lost my job in March .. We had a new boss since January, he’s single, white and toxic. My toddlers daycare closed (corona) and I had to stay home with my son. First he removed my home office privileges, then he forced hr and me to use my vacation days for the time in quarantine and then he started actively going after me and the other mothers with made up accusations and what not. Sadly, it’s the norm for jobs in healthcare (where I live).
Just talked to a colleague of mine a couple of days ago and karma came for him – he is suspended because he was in an office with two people and a female hr employee and in the middle of the meeting asked her to get up on the round table and dance for them, they deserve a show.

      • Soupie says:

Well at least you got some payback! Toxic AND foolish! Too bad more toxic males aren’t that foolish and get repercussions too.

  10. Veronica S. says:

Meghan’s been pretty outspoken about industry sexism for awhile now but has mostly been written off because she tends to dress sexily and take on provocative roles. That unfortunately says as much about the narrow way we can allow women to feel empowered and women’s own internalized sexism. I’m glad she seems to be coming into herself more as she ages.
