Brad Pitt & Maddox spend boy’s night out at Dave and Buster’s

After spending Thursday at the Clinton Global Initiative panel discussion on environmentalism and architecture, Brad Pitt spent Friday with Maddox in New York. The two went to the Dave and Buster’s in Times Square, where they played games and probably ate a ton of junk food. For those of you unfamiliar with Dave and Buster’s, it’s an American chain restaurant/fun-house popular with teenagers and people who want to feel like kids. It’s got tons of games, like a really family-friendly version of Las Vegas, without the high financial stakes. Lots of bright lights, lots of noise. Just thinking about it gives me a headache. Anyway, Brad and Maddox spent several hours there, and then went to JFK where they caught a flight back to France.

Brad Pitt and his 8-year-old son Maddox were spotted making their way to Dave & Busters in Times Square on Friday evening (September 25). Maddox held a box of take-out food as his proud papa led him toward the restaurant for an evening of fun and games. A couple of hours later, the father-son duo were seen departing NYC from the JFK airport.

The 45-year-old hunky actor was in the Big Apple to attend the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, where he was presented with an award recognizing the green credentials of his housing project in New Orleans. Pitt’s Make It Right organization built 13 homes in an area of New Orleans destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

I’m sure somebody’s got something to say about the “Miami retirement community” outfit Brad has on. I have no explanation for it. It’s like he should have looked in the mirror before he left the hotel and taken off two articles of clothing. It’s beige overkill with the vest (or cardigan, whatever), pants, jacket and beige trim on his hat. Without the hat and the vest/cardigan, it could have been fine. Meanwhile, Maddox is wearing an expression in most of these pictures like “I can’t wait to get back to mom, where everything’s all black”.

Sure way to keep a low profile.

Dressing like that. Just screams to the paps: “Don’t pay any attention to me. Move along.”

    otherwise,he’s maturing nicely,IMO.
this is the best i’ve seen him look in the recent month’s photos-including red carpet stuff. he looks good-imagine having your every public outing photographed? it’s a weird existence,to be sure.

Dave & Busters is a favorite along with Mars 2112. At least the food is a tiny bit better at D &B’s. Kids love the arcade feel of it all.

Yeah, really, what’s wrong with jeans and t-shirt? He looks borderline ridiculous.
On a side note, Dave and Buster’s is a lot of fun.

One thing about wearing hats is that they get you noticed. Try walking up the street or through a mall wearing a hat, and it’s amazing how many people will check you out!

Love D&B! Every time we go for special occasions like my man’s b-day, we end up dropping $80 for games alone…..and the half off cocktails during happy hour! MMMMMmmmmm Banana split cocktail,..Bloody Marys…frozen fruit drinks… Think I might go have one this afternoon…

I am sorry, but Pitt’s outfit is ridiculous! And why does he have to wear a hat 24/7? A real gentleman never wears his hat indoors.

yes Brad was totally going bald a few years ago, i think he switches it up between toupees and hats, his hair is much thicker on the red carpet these days than whe he had the W shoot with Angie 4 yrs ago.

Congrats IB should make $250 million worldwide by the end of the week. So I guess he’s being going bald for over 10 years now. Btw I guess he forgot to wear a hat to cover his bald spot last week when he had on the hideous monogrammed (BP)shoes. GMAB, The guy likes to wear hats.

Who cares if he is bald, loaded with hair or sporting a toupee, that hat is stupid and only Huggy Bear from Starksy and Hutch should be wearing such a thing!

My guess is that he doesn’t give a hoot how he looks and good for him. He’s having a great time with his son, who is lucky to have been able to take this trip with dad.

My 11 yr old son would prefer going to play video games, and taking a trips with his dad…rather then going to school, also.

TMZ has a video of Brad and Maddox leaving D&B. Un-fcuking-believable. I live in NYC; we’re used to celebs. We have celebs out the wazoo here. But damn, the two of them walk out of a restaurant and the whole street went batshit crazy. I can understand why they live in Europe; there is no way north of hell they could have a normal life here. Maddox carried himself like a little man, acting oblivious to it all. He’s one tough kid. I wonder what it must be like growing up like that, when you walk out the door and people go nuts.

Agree he looks like a tw@t in these pics. Way way too much beige. And think he could get rid of 4 items rather than just the two being necklace, hat, cardigan and that awful beard. YUCK

Brad is morphing into another persona. He looks like a bluesman or Tom Skerritt’s brother.

Those are really cute photos. But it said on one web site they were taken on 9/22, which was right before Bad and Maddox went to NYC.
