Parents are well aware of their children's physical appearances, I think particularly fathers of daughters because they are men and know that men are visually inclined. So he knows that his daughter isn't the drop-dead remodel of her mum and I'm sure he's aware that her beau is quite attractive so it makes perfect sense that he would be cautious and reserved and uncomfortable watching their PDA, maybe even wondering how long this will last b/c he cares about his daughter. I actually just had another thought-Rumer's boyfriend is an actor. I don't know how good of an actor he is but maybe he's on their payroll...Bruce might be checking out his investment. I hope that last part isn't true b/c Rumer isn't some hideous monster and she has found a way to work what she's been given. My eyebrows raise b/c she IS in that hollywood scene and he IS as well and from everything I've seen about it its superficial. I wouldn't really question if some attractive average joe got to know her and liked her. Looking at that top pic I am reminded that good-gugga-MUGGA, that gal looks like her papa but I DO think Rumer is quite capable of getting a decent-looking guy on her own. @ Heavenbound & cassie-LMOL!

Sorry, but not ONCE have I ever heard of a dad getting involved to help his daughter then. Transfer of ownership? I have to believe this in a patriarchal society. It's too damn bad, too.
