I don’t think Kevin Smith’s opinion really matters at this point. He has been trying to cling onto Ben for years. Jen G. didn’t like him for good reason. He will say anything to get his name attached to Ben.

I think Dune may be in trouble by looking at the demographics of the audience. It was very white and very male. It has been pointed out that Dune has a White Savior issue ala Dances with Wolves and Navi, Very low percentage of black audience members went to see this

Because the promo junkets with Z and Timotheé pretty much sell the film to gen-zers, all while sideways promoting Euphoria. With the fans of the other actors watching, and book fans they’re basically trying for a Star Wars style saga that has big name directors fanning over it.
It’s good marketing the Z and T interviews have been cute as hell, and their red carpet game is A++.
Because her character is mostly in the second half of the novel, which will be covered in Dune: The Second Movie. The story covered in this film was maybe the first half hour of the David Lynch version.
My Mom and I saw it Sunday and it was enthralling. We were glad to hear that Warners just greenlit the ‘sequel’ for release in 2023.

Me too! I was prepared to be bored and actually loved the time they took with things. My husband also LOVED it which was a bit surprising / not usually his thing, he keeps talking about the Quebecois director (since he’s Quebecois).
I loved it. First time I watched a movie without googling what was going to happen ahead of time.

@Andrea, I’m a Leo, and have dated other Leos. I’ve had insane sex with them, and enjoyed those relationships the most.
Jen Garner is an Aries, another fire sign. Personally, I don’t think they were a great match at all. As for earth signs, the ones I’ve dated, I’ve never enjoyed them… too boring for me. But I do know other Leos who have luck with them.
Leo/Leo combos may seem combustible to you, but there’s a lot of other factors with astrology. I personally think Ben would do better with a Libra maybe and Jen with a Capricorn.

I hope y’all know Jlo and Ben have been with each other this past Sunday. She and her kids were at ben’s house. It seems like they have a good system going with working weekdays and see each other on weekends and it seems like they are putting in the effort to make this really work.
They were overexposed, imo. Too much, too soon, with nothing really new day after day. Or, maybe they’re reconsidering their future together. I don’t see anything long term due to Bens addictions- gambling and drinking.
