You are right. I’m 55 and I let my hair go to their natural silver four years ago. My skin is very good, as my mother before me I don’t wrinkle very much. Still, after I stopped dying my hair, I see people consider me older than before. Anycase I would never go back and dye my hair again, I feel so free now.

I’d like to think lots of men love seeing sexy older women doing awesome stuff, but they are just unlikely to express it openly. I may be wrong or I may be right, but as a woman over 50 it’s a story I like to tell myself anyway. 😆

i think what is sold/used here, is the attitude. The confidence. The swagger.
men are puffed up by default, so its easier for them to strut down the runway all grey and wrinkly.
Women could and should do the same, if they have the confidence and swagger. I applaud it each time I see it in a woman…. I wonder why it isnt done more often. Why set the standard to something temporary and fleeting. You’ll never keep it.

Honestly, I’m 45 now and 40 pounds heavier than I was in my 20s. I’m so much happier and more confident than I was then and much more likely to walk and freakin own any catwalk I’m on than I was then. I do wish for that body and boobs but I had no confidence back then. I’d take my confidence and eff you attitude now over the body I had then any day and I get hit on just as often now as well even though I’m married with kids. Confidence is sexy for both genders.
