Another day, another Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce fight dragged through the press. Yesterday we heard from one of Jon’s many hookups, onetime nanny and full time cocktail waitress Stephanie Santoro, that Jon told her he had hacked into his estranged wife Kate’s e-mails, text messages and bank accounts. Santoro said this in a video interview with Radar Online, and she seemed entirely believable to me. She explained that Jon told her that he set up forwards on Kate’s e-mail accounts and text messages so he would get copies immediately. Santoro also told a story about how she tried to reach out to Kate over the fact that she wanted to keep her babysitting job with the family. Moments after she sent Kate a text message about the nannying job, Jon called Stephanie in a blue rage.
Jon has of course denied that he hacked into Kate’s accounts, but his statement through his lawyer is kind of half-assed and doesn’t deny it outright, just that he didn’t “illegally invade Kate’s electronic privacy.” (From Santoro’s explanation it didn’t sound particularly advanced and probably just involved some simple moves to copy and forward messages.) Kate has said through her lawyer that she’s “disturbed” by this revelation and may pursue legal action. I hope she has someone professional help her check out her computer and cellphone too:
Kate and Jon Gosselin both reacted angrily Thursday to their former babysitter’s allegations that Jon bragged about hacking into Kate’s emails, phone records and online bank accounts.
Kate, in a statement, says she’s “disturbed” by Stephanie Santoro’s allegations. “Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right,” said the statement released by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, her Philadelphia law firm.
Jon, meanwhile, says Santoro is lying. “I spoke with him today concerning this statement made by Stephanie and he unequivocally told me that he’s never illegally invaded Kate’s electronic privacy in any way,” says his attorney, Mark Heller. “He also finds it a little disappointing that Kate would give credence to an uncorroborated statement made by an individual who clearly has a motivation to tell stories about Jon that might result in financial [compensation].”
Santoro made the allegations in an interview with Radar Online. In August, she garnered attention when she was babysitting at the Gosselins’ Wernersville, Penn., home while Jon was present. Kate tried to enter the home and called police when she wasn’t allowed in. Last month, Santoro told a magazine she and Jon had a steamy affair, which Jon denies.

Yeah, Jon did it. He doesn’t think it’s illegal, just like he didn’t think it was illegal that he took all that money out of his family’s bank account and kept trying to justify it like it was his paycheck. The guy is going to get creamed in the divorce and will be left with a pittance. He’ll be able to make ends meet by doing event appearances and he won’t starve, but he won’t be able to afford his luxury lifestyle either. He has no clue about money.
There are a ton of stories about Jon in the tabloids this week as usual, and they’re not all worth repeating. One story in the National Enquirer claims that he’s been lavishing gifts on his main girlfriend, Hailey Glassman, and that he proposed with a $14,000 diamond ring. Hailey is said to have turned Jon down, though, but it’s not like she’s turning down his presents. He’s leasing a Mercedes SUV for her and has spent at least $25,000 on gifts for her, according to the Enquirer. Again, he’s going to get creamed.
Right after I wrote this story and was about to publish it, a story popped on my Feedreader that Jon is being sued by network TLC for breach of contract. You know he’s not going to hire a decent lawyer and is going to stick with that scamming divorce attorney he calls his best buddy. Maybe he will be entirely strapped for cash after all.
If they were on the same cell phone plan I don’t think it illegal to look up your plan’s call log.
I do believe that Haily G would have accepted his offer of marriage if the show was still on the air.
Jon will soon be BROKE and will have to work like the rest of us , and with that many kids to support, he is like SCREWED big time.
That’s what happens when you don’t see the big picture in front of you and you shoot yourself in the foot!

Either Jon has some major dirt on Kate and is waiting for the right time to tell the media or he is just a stupid man and has been getting some bad advice(also smoking funny cigars at the same time!)
Kate is not a saint by any means, but this latest stunt by Jon is not making him look good at all. Whether he wants to or not Jon will have to deal with Kate for the rest of his life because of the children. I don’t think stunts like this will put Kate in a cooperative mood or endear him to the judge hearing the divorce.

ahaha cara! I honestly couldn’t bring myself to sleep with Jon Gosselin. Not for all the porsches, mercedes, and money in the world. He’s beyond gross. Waking up in the morning to THAT, ugh has to be the most abysmal feeling in the world. Jon is like an overgrown, overfed, overindulged, frat boy except he never graduated college, comes with 8 kids and messy divorce and his trust fund will soon dry up. When he’s out of cash it will be funny to see how fast Haley splits.
These parents are both trash. What is TLC sueing Jon for? The right to exploit and abuse innocent children on national television by a corporate company?

What kind of pisses me off about the whole thing is that this has made me sympathetic towards Kate.
I don’t think Kate is as bad as people make out though. I honestly don’t see her as this horrible mother. I’ve always maintained that whenever you see her out and about she’s most likely getting paid for some kind of appearance. I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same. I have three children, and apart from the show, I would love to have some of those opportunities for them.
On topic…I can see Jon skimming money and doing things like going through her emails and texts. Not because he’s some kind of evil genius…Nobody in their right mind could think he’s capable of that. But because it’s such a juvenile thing to do. Like the equivalent of reading somebody’s diary, and being able to brag about it.
I really think Jon needs psychiatric help, but can you fix that level of brain dead immaturity?
TLC are disgusting bullies who do not care what this will do to the kids. They only care about the billions they make and they had no business gettin in the middle of this couples divorce. They are removed from all my tv’s.
Another thought I had, if Jon loses his money to TLC then kate will have to pay him child support and alimony.
How can we possibly believe all this crap that is being reported? Stephanie is as believeable as a snake. Oh hope her 15 min of fame is over soon. As far as TLC sueing Jon well I expected something like that. Regardless of all that has been reported, the only true fact I believe is that he is the father of the kids and they can’t dispute that. And that is the most important thing! And he is a good father, was and still is, under all these difficult circumstances.
Okay in terms of contract law TLC has every right to sue Jon. When you sign a contract you receive pay for expected work, if you do not complete your work then you owe the company you signed with money. Ultimately Jon did not hold up his end of the bargain, this is not even specific to him and this show, if you signed on with an employer and did not fulfill your responsibilities to the contract you could be sued, just as he is. This was not a typical contract, as TLC included a ‘morality clause’ which they had previously threatened to use against Jon because of his gross public behavior. TLC was actually lenient in letting Jon’s breach of the morality clause go, so they’ve actually been flexible with him. My point remains however, that anyone working in America could be sued if they broke the terms of their employment contract, and Jon is not immune to things just because he fancies himself the most photographed man in America.
I have a hard time seeing TLC as a bully for suing Jon, he signed a contract, he made his choices. Ultimately is was not until he saw his role was being downsized he suddenly opposed and slandered the show calling it exploitative, etc.
The real problem is that Jon has the mental and emotional maturity of a teenager. Instead of fulfilling his responsibilities and refusing to renew the contract when it came up for negotiation, he has chosen to take on TLC and hold a public battle royale.
This is great. With the attorneys involved, they’ll bleed Jon and Kate of all their money they made off the kids. And since TLC and Jon are in litigation, no new episodes can be created. Enjoy biting the hand that was feeding you.

I wonder if there was money put aside for the children in a trust or was the money put into a regular bank account that the parents can “access” at any time? At the rate these two are using lawyers they will go through any money saved for the children in no time
Birdie, there was a clause in that contract stating that if EITHER Jon or Kate wanted to terminate filming with the children, either could do so.
Is it jsut me or does anyone else miss Kate’s backwards racoon skunk weave? If’ were going to heave to see her pictures (not just on here so don’t tell me not to click these links if i don’t like it, it’s all over the news and any website with gossip or news-you can’t stay away from it) This new cut is an attempt to look softer and more feminine but i prefer the other look as awful as it was.
oh my god he looks disgusting. i love that he’s wearing that t shirt, it’s like, yeah jon, who has had millions of milkshakes? the grease is oozing out of his skin! it is horrific that young girls will sleep with him despite his ugliness/fatness/horrible wardrobe choices. is it really just the fame? has he got something awesome going on that no one but college girls can see?

I wish a judge would put a gag order on BOTH of them and anyone in their lives so that no one could talk about this crap to the media.
They are both jerky grifters. I’m glad TLC is suing him and I hope they both end up penniless. That’s what they get for making their kids earn all the cash. Then they’ll have to get real jobs and make it like the rest of us.
Actually I think the kids lives would be BETTER without the cameras and the money. But their lives would only be much much better if they got new parents.

Kate said on the Today show, in the midst of her crocodile tears, that if either she or Jon wanted it to stop, that it would. TLC has only proven that they are greedy by filing against Jon. They are losing what once was a pretty nice gravy train. They don’t care one iota for those kids. Most unfortunate that Jon and Kate both have not received gag orders, if only for the sake of their children. All these people spouting off about the kids, yet nothing has been done to protect them from this constant barrage of muck and mire. I doubt bankruptcy is on the cards for either one of them. IMO
Oh my God……somebody actually said that Jon Gosselin is a good father. And not in a sarcastic or ironic way…in a serious way. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
