It's just her acting out what's been done to her in her childhood. Talk about substance-abusing parents, talk about non-stop drama, talk about being desperately lonely and looking for a way to fill that void inside. I feel for her, period. But I guess you have to have experienced being a child feeding your parents' needs to understand the psychological situation she's in. I had the incredible luck of meeting the right people at the right time AND I was not in an environment where drugs are so easily available. ('though I just don't think that would ever have been my path, it's a question of aesthetics, but nevermind, I found other ways to hurt myself.) So to all you self-righteous people out there who are so fast judging somebody: I repeat, nobody CHOSES that kind of life. To be driven into that amount of self-destruction, you have to have incredibly suffered, period. And obviously she has not yet met the right therapist. As for the people who raised her: There is nothing caring or mature about her parents. They are both fame whores feeding off their children and it's a goddamn tragedy. I know, we all tend to despise people who lost their dignity, because thinking about the reasons for giving up on yourself would lead us to a really dark place. But it's there and it is certainly not going to go away by blaming the victim. Just my three cents. I'm so tired of people kicking somebody who's already on the floor. She's obviously got some substance issues, but her own father should know better than to take their personal business outside the family.
