Oh Heidi and Spencer, you gotta love ‘em. And by “love” I mean “loathe.” While the contemptible couple would show up not just to the opening of an envelope – but also the opening of junk mail – you better freaking pay them to go anywhere else. Big surprise. In fact Heidi recently refused to go to her own sister’s birthday party. Does she have a beef with her sis? No – though she probably does now. The reason Heidi wouldn’t go is because she wasn’t getting paid.
Whatever happened to the good old days when family was more important than finances?
Holly Montag celebrated her 26th Birthday at Empire Hollywood in Los Angeles on Saturday night, but notably absent from the festive affair was Holly’s little sis, Heidi Montag and her hubby Spencer Pratt.
We’re told Heidi was invited, but was a no-show.
“Holly was really wishing that her sister could just be a sister and stop by her birthday party, but Heidi only goes places if she is getting paid,” an insider snitched to Tarts. “I mean, this is her sister and she wouldn’t even show up without a fee. That’s disgusting.”
The evening ended up garnering publicity, however, as the birthday girl’s BFF and MTV co-star, Stephanie Pratt, was arrested on suspicion of a DUI after leaving.

So did Heidi expect her family to pay her? Her sister to pay her? Or the venue to pay her? Maybe all three. I’m confused about how she thinks this works. Does she charge for baptisms and bar mitzvahs as well, or just celebrations of aging? I assume it’s safe to say she charges for all events. I only remember seeing Heidi and Spencer at one charity “function” – handing out Taco Bell for a food bank or homeless charity. Still, I doubt they donated their time. Or their ugly little faces and smarmy grins.
Too bad Heidi made such a bad choice. Of course, it obviously wasn’t the worst choice of the night – that auspicious title goes to Stephanie Pratt. But to think, Heidi just handed over the limelight to Stephanie, when she could have been a good sister AND stolen some attention.

Are you kidding me? She actually gets paid to make appearances. WOW!!! Why would anyone waste money doing that is beyond me – to see two fake ass people grope eachother – because i am sure Spencer will be there – disgusting!!!
She is such a Z lister that you would think she would have jumped at the opportunity to be photographed and at least make the Y list. Or at least…this would have been a great opportunity for her to learn to dance.
