Kate’s “brother” and his witchy wife should be ashamed of themselves, no wonder he acts so nerveous, he knows exactly WHY they are fighting with Gloria, G’s in it for the money and fame, they’re in it because Kate didn’t want them on the show anymore. And ya, those kids may have been in front of the camera for a few hrs a day or week, but, they helped earn their own way through college, for pete’s sake, they weren’t out in the hot sun and picking cotton, or in a sweat shop somewhere and then all their 5cent earrnings for the day taken away from them and they were sent to sleep in a rat infested room with no water or food, Cripe give us a break !! so what about all the kids they use in commercials, they have a rougher time, they have to learn lines and take and retake, these kids just can be themselves, for a few minutes or an hr a day and then go on their merry way. I saw the picture of Kevin and Jodi walking with….well, who do you think, the one they’re in cahoots with, jon boy of course !! thy’re on the same side, well, OK then, baby jon boy, they’re YOUR kids, if you don’t want them earning the kind of money that will take care of them very comfortably, Then you get your sorry ass out there and earn it !!!! you 3 are just so mad cause you’re not on the show anymore, you want to see to it, Kate and the kids aren’t either. What a sorry bunch of people you are, why didn’t you just leave Kate and the Kids alone?

Kate is a joke, people are only being sympathetic towards her because she is a ‘single mother’ now. In the beginning, Jon & Kate were a struggling family, trying to raise their 8 kids. Then Kate let fame go to her head.
No one in PA likes Kate, not to mention all the friends that she did have no longer like her due to her attitude. When she was pregnant with the sextuplets, she ended up estranged from her own mother and father because she wanted ‘brand new cribs’ as opposed to donated cribs from her father’s church. All the donations from her father’s church were given to her, however she went and sold off everything for some cash to buy ‘new things’.
And with Jodi & her husband, Jodi was never paid, but when TLC decided that they should pay her, Kate blew up. 90% of the time, Jodi would be taking care of the kids (when the cameras werent rolling) so the producers felt sympathetic, because she’s taking care of not only 8 kids (out of the kindness of her heart) but also her 4 own kids!
Not to mention she never asked for money, she took care of her nieces/nephews because she actually cares for them – unlike Kate, who are just using them as a paycheck!

Princess Pea, you are absolutely right.
In the beginning, when Jon and Kate were struggling to raise eight kids on a middle-class salary, their intentions might have been good – namely, to earn enough money on a reality show to support their kids – but that all changed when the money and the freebies and the fame started rolling in.
Now, it’s all about first-class travel, appearances on talk shows, luxury cars and so on – none of which benefit the kids in any way whatsoever.

Kate has estranged herself from her entire family, including her husband and it wouldn’t surprise me if one day it will be the kids too. This is the same woman who rejected cribs from her father’s church because they didn’t match or something.
Child exploitation on reality shows needs to end. Kids are supposed to cost you money, not make you money!

Word Maddie and Wow.

Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin have supported the Gosselins for years – despite the mysterious lack of communication with the rest of Kate’s side of the family. (Fill in your own blanks.)

For years, the kids were shelpped off on the Kriedes’ on a whim – whenever Jon and Kate needed some alone time. (Not just when the cameras were rolling, either. ) Kate got bitchy and essentially fired her sister-in-law when TLC offered to compensate Jodi’s time. Twice.

Kate refused her own family a paycheck. Twice. (I guess because if the Kriedes’ were paid for the intrusion of filming in their home, then they were entitled to more air-time? And Aunt Jodi is a far more favorable maternal figure than Kate by a looong shot.)

After Jodi got canned Season 3, an anonymous underling was hired to babysit the kiddies. Someone who could be compensated minimum wage for childcare, but would rarely be filmed enough to warrant additional money for filming intrusions. (Or god forbid, a casting credit!) The sitter is only mentioned a handful of times throughout the years – creating the illusion that Kate watches the brood 24/7, with an occasional extra help every now and again. (Funny how the kids call Kate by their Nanny’s name, huh?)

I honestly feel that the main motivator for the Kriedes’ is the welfare of the children. I think the appearance fees definitely help grease the wheels, but at the end of the day they just want to do right by their nieces and nephews. And that’s way more than you can say for Jon or Kate.

Well, since Kate is completely off-the-deep-end insane and has alienated everyone who ever cared about her, it seems the only way to get her attention is to tell some tabloid something nasty about her personal life. Good on Kevin and Jodi for trying to help the kids, I guess. It’d be nice if somebody in this family could get sh*t done without cameras rolling.

Their name is Kreider as the actual article says not Kreide and Birdie, “loving on” someone means to show them affection I’ve heard this term quite a bit. I wish that all reality shows were made to have an guardian appointed to protect the kids like they do in court and that person would have to be present any time filming was occuring in the household. Jon & Kate have pubicly squandered any parental cred they had long ago. Aunt Famewhore and Uncle Clueless need to stfu
