Gasquet just got off with a 2 months suspension because he "kissed a girl who used cocaine". Huh? Are these people brain dead at ATP? I'm a former Agassi fan who wishes he had kept his mouth shut. He didn't need to destroy our faith in tennis's drug testing just to massage his own ego. He doesn't need the money, just the attention. Shame on you Agassi. Why? He wears his heart on his sleeve. But this tidbit bother's me. I'm an avid tennis fan, it bothers me to read that the ATP threw out his drug test after Agassi gave them some lame excuse. It bother's me because that was totally special treatment based on who he is. There have been lesser known, yet still great, players who have been fined or even banned because they ate a power bar or one of those gatorade type drinks that had a banned substance in it unbeknownst to the player. They didn't recieve the benefit of the doubt like Agassi did. They got banned for weeks or months. Some just for eating the wrong protein bar, and nothing even close to actually intacting a illegal drug like Agassi admitted to now. This is why you have tennis players reading every inch of the ingredient listing of a power bar or protein drink... they fear getting banned and labeled as a druggie. Still love Agassi though. I was no so taken with their suit in the beginning, it was such an unlikely suit. But as time goes by, you can see that they are one of those few couples who are in sync.
