Colin Farrell’s girlfriend Alicja Bachleda probably gave birth to a son

This is not the picture we’re talking about. You can see that on The Sun
Okay, I have been hearing for several days that Colin Farrell’s girlfriend Alicja Bachleda had given birth. I thought the reports were bullsh-t, because everything seemed to come from this obscure Polish source rather than any American or Irish confirmation. So I waited and waited to see if there was any truth to it. And now I’ve got my evidence – sort of. While Colin’s people still aren’t confirming anything, The Sun (and other sources) have pictures of Colin and Alicja out at a U2 concert over the weekend, and Alicja looks seriously skinny (pictures from The Sun here). Like, “she gave birth a while ago” skinny.

So, back to those original reports that I though were too sketchy. Allegedly, Alicja gave birth to a son a few weeks ago in Los Angeles, and only Poland’s Super Express got the scoop. Alicja’s brother maybe confirmed the news to them with this quote: “I am delighted my little sister has given birth. I hope that before the end of the year, I can fly out to see my new nephew.” If it’s true, it’s Colin’s second son. He is also father to 6-year-old James.

There was speculation yesterday that actor Colin Farrell had become a dad for the second time. The 33-year-old Irish actor’s girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curus was reported to have given birth to a baby boy.

The 26-year old Polish actress went into labour a week ago in Los Angeles, the reports said.

In an interview with the Polish tabloid ‘Super Express’, her brother Tadeusz said: “I am delighted my little sister has given birth. I hope that before the end of the year, I can fly out to see my new nephew.”

The Hollywood couple were said to have kept the birth secret for almost a week and have refused to reveal the name of their newborn son.

However, there was no confirmation from Farrell’s agent last night.

Two years ago, Farrell opened his heart and revealed that his five-year-old son James is a special-needs child. The actor described how the condition has affected his speech and mobility.

James, who is from Farrell’s previous relationship with Kim Bordenave, has a rare form of cerebral palsy called Angelman Syndrome.

[From Irish Independent]

If Alicja did give birth to a son, we still don’t know the name of the little boy. However, an Irish betting site is giving 4 to 1 odds on Colin naming the boy Eamon, the name of both Colin’s dad and his older brother. The site is also giving 10/1 odds on Colin, and “Alexander at 12/1, and Neil at 14/1, after Irish Oscar winning filmmaker Neil Jordan, while traditional Irish name Paddy/Patrick makes the list at 20/1.” I like the name Eamon. Neil would be cute too. In any case, congratulations to Colin and Alicja!

I am going with the name Pint. That’s my guess.

  2. Met says:

“Super express” being an obscure source? It’s one of most popular newspapers in Poland, though a tabloid…

Where else would you look for news about Polish actress, surely not in American press.

They can pay A LOT to get fresh celebrity news and if they don’t write it is a gossip it means they know it for sure.

  3. snowball says:

    Congrats to them..

But in those pics from The Sun, Colin looks like a dirty homeless man. He cleans up gorgeous, so why on earth does he always look like he just got done rolling in a dirt pile?

Alicja looked seriously skinny. If she gave birth one or even 2 weeks ago, I want her secret.

  4. Sumodo says:

If Colin Farrell’s sperm was the ONLY sperm available at the sperm bank, I’d say fuggedaboudit. That baby has a HUGE chance of growing up to have substance abuse issues.

Met: very true, but SE was not the only source that revealed the news. the info about alicja’a and colin’s son being born was all over polish gossip sites a few days ago.

  6. Mairead says:

The Indo piece was published a week ago, and it stated that it was allegedly a week before that – so 2 weeks ago was apparently the D-day. They were quoting the Polish press also.

Éamon/Eamonn would be a good guess for a name, but why not a Polish first name?

so In Touch or Star are far more reliable sources than SuperExpress? Same thing to me. LOL. Get over yourself. The baby was supposedly born about 2 weeks ago in L.A. Alicja’s mother confirmed the birth (a few weeks early) to the paper but wouldn’t reveal the name. Sounded like they told her not to. Alicja looked very skinny and well at the concert but, sadly, looks like she’s adopted Colin’s messy style. But if they’re happy, who cares. At least she’s not selling baby pix to the highest bidder. My guess is that they don’t want to be dealing with the press so soon after birth, hence no announcement.

Ugh, I wouldn’t let Colin Farrell touch me if his dick was made of diamonds. He looks filthy, and I bet he stinks, and since he is (or was) completely indescriminate in where he sticks his dick, he’s probably got God knows what STD’s. I guess him being famous makes it easier for some women, though. And to me, he’s not even slightly attractive! Nasty, all around. I do wish the baby a good life though, it’s not it’s fault that Colin is it’s father…poor little thing.

No one, not even a celeb, looks like that 2 weeks later. There isn’t that much duct tape in the world! Pencil thin upper thighs already? Please! She looks exactly the way she did when the first pictures of them started to float around earlier this year before her stomach sprouted. If she really did pop on 10/8 or 10/9, she is one lucky chick to bounce back so splendidly a month before the six week checkup after labor. Wow! I bow to her body’s magical powers because that is crazy.

  10. Will says:

PS. And despite the layered clothing, you can cleary see she has no leftover belly either! Wow. I was only joking before. I do know there are extremely lucky gals around who look like this (this being the photo linked from The Sun) a mere 2 weeks later. There aren’t very many around, but they do exist. lol!

Lol @ Firestarter. Although the more I think about it, the more Pint sounds like a cute name. I need help.

  12. asdfgngk3 says:

It was also Super Express (I think) that started the story about them getting together as part of a promotion campaign. By that I mean the relationship was faked. I am also beginning to think the pregnancy was faked, too.

  13. xxx@ says:

As it has been officially confirmed today, the boy was born on 7 October. His name is Henry Tadeusz Farrell.

Seems rather far away from guesses of ‘renowned’ ‘Irish confirmations’…:)

  14. xxx@ says:

Btw. I am just sorry for the little Henry that being 20 something days old baby he is left with a baby sitter and feeding bottle, instead of being close to his mom… life of celebrities’ kids is just sad 🙁

  15. Marla says:

I agree. Moms in the real world don’t have the luxury of full time nannies, but they do have the better connection with their children in being there for them. So money doesn’t always mean better.

  16. ... says:

Yeah, moms in “real life’ have a lot of time to get tired, mad and frustrated because of having no help and no ‘alone time’, so that they can scream at their babies .
