I really did it just to get the hell out of there, lol. The whole theory is that inanimate objects and events in your life can trigger the "reactive mind" - a part of your mind that represents the culmination of all of the bad things that happened to the tortured alien being who's soul now inhabits your body. They blame this reactive mind for all of the mental and physical ills and negatives that we experience (thus eliminating the need for modern medicine and psychology). They believe that with the power of only our minds, we can overcome the reactive mind and these negative things, (via mentally conquering these objects that trigger our reactive mind) phew that was a lot to type.
