Having a baby doesn't mean you have to resign from life, but she spoke as if the baby was a burden in her life. - Kidman had no itch to get back to work. She decided to do Nine because she needs to save her ass. Her career became a joke. She did some of the worst mainstream films of the decade and her adventures in the indie film world were even more bombastic (Fur, Birth, Margot At The Wedding, honestly?). Nine is a great chance of success for her. Not because of her, but because of the other stars and the oddity of seeing Daniel Day Lewis singing. Some thoughts:
