I’m a believer in Jehovah God, Hell (On earth and in the afterlife), and The Bible it’s about faith more then anything my brotheres and sisters. Yes Sister Carrie has sinned we all have and one sin is no bigger then another we will be judged here and when Christ comes back i’m not perfect but i strive and i have convictions especially when it comes to sexual reletaions but Levitcus 18:22 speaks on homosexuality and it is a choice and if it was the best choice then man can have reproduce and women could without the man’s seed but no you an’t so wait on the the right person don’t be afraid to try and fail in love it hurts but God made that feeling real for evryonethat lives long enough to have and stop thinking this earth is your final resting place. Well since the majority of the people commenting on here are slamming the former beauty queen, I’m wondering if that is just it. Why is it that people thrive off of other people’s pain, especially when they are pretty, popular, or famous. Turn some of that hatred into positive energy and do something good with it. As for how Carrie answered “the question”, she gave the best answer she could have gave, the honest one. There is enough dishonesty in the world, don’t complain when some one answers a questions truthfully and you trash her because she doesn’t answer it to fit your life style. Heterosexuality is a choice just as Homosexuality is. If she would of answered it the opposite way you wouldn’t see the Heterosexual community in an uproar. Everyone is entitled to live their lives the way they choose, like it or not. That’s our country and that is the “American Way”. Being able to do, be and say what you want, that’s what makes our country what it is. You can’t have it both ways.

yup, for me too. still have yet to hear a rational argument against it.

and it’s like these anti-gay marriage people have forgotten that GAY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN GETTING MARRIED FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW.

and as far as I can tell, the world hasn’t imploded and the institution of marriage is still intact.

(well, except if you count marriages like Britney Spears’ first one…how come the National Organization for Marriage doesn’t jump all over marriages like THAT one?!)

I had the pleasure of watching part of “Milk” last night. it’s funny (actually, more sad…) to think that people used to be afraid that gay teachers were teaching kids to “be gay”. thankfully, people have opened their minds and realized how stupid and far-fetched that claim was. I can only hope that in the near future people will think that the claim of gay marriage threatening the institution of marriage is just as stupid.

Holy sensitive Christians, Batman. It’s okay if we don’t like one hypocritical airhead, guys. It’s okay. You can post your stuff about how we all need a (THE?) saviour and I look the other way (or turn my cheek, if you will). And then you can do the same when some people have hurt feelings towards a church that has judged them, found them lacking, and vocally condemned them, okay?

As for connecting gay marriage (which some of you say is just ‘one girl’s opinon’) with the religious right – I think this happens because I have never, ever heard an explanation for WHY one thinks marriage isn’t for gays OTHER THAN ‘the bible says so’ and I expect that’s true for other people too. I don’t count “it’s wrong because I just think so” because that’s not an explanation at all.
