there is ten commandments but noone cares.so what all the dumb people think thier god is better.i don’t care whos god is better just like i don’t care who has all the money. anyone who puts money and religion before family and love is just dumb give me a break tom thnik his god is better then the god someone else has. who care jsut stop pushing it off on everyone else and keep it to yourself.

Maybe once Scientology is over and done with maybe Tom can help his best friend David become and actor since the guy dyes his hair alot lol, I remember reading the first original article where several ex memebers came forward about their old crazy leader and seen the pictures where his hair color change 3 or 4 different times, I’m terrible with colors you know so I don’t want to mislead anyone with the wrong colors, but I can so see Tom trying to threaten people. Scientology is going down. Long live Christianity!

You should read up on scientology.Granted the stuff you read is not confirmed proof,but not much is,and if it were confirmed they would all have big legal trouble.Their are alot of witnesses and reformed CS members that say that there is physical abuse,and yes, even murder and much more.It is a dangerous cult.

UMMM, GIZ- do NOT generalize religions as brainwashing communities. I grew up in a Baptist church, graduated from a Baptist school, still attend church once in a while, but I, and the members of my church/ family are the furthest thing from being brainwashed. As a matter of fact, I am one of the most openminded people I know. And you still never answered the question- which religions are you talking about?

GG6, So CS promotes and commit murder, where is that written down and proven as fact? I’m not going to go that road! This discussion is pointless.

I have to wonder that if Cruise were a practicing Muslim would he then be accused of being a potential terrorist? The hatred of him seems almost profound enough to suggest it!

I’m not defending Cruise or CS. I’m questioning the rationale behind some of the statements that were made just as you are questioning my statements regarding certain churches within the Christian communities that promote fear and intimidation. Just because brow-beating, intimidation along with mental and some times physical abuse isn’t written a particular churches doctrine doesn’t mean it isn’t practiced!

You’ve got people out there within certain Christian communities in favor of capitol punishment, collateral damage in the Mid-East and the outright murder of certain individuals in the name of God. …So now YOU tell me about the supposed murders that CS has committed!

ALL religions practice some form of brainwashing, be it good or bad. It just depends on how far its membership is going to go! You need to go do some research!

You mean, nobody misbehaved just so they could get a whipping from Tom? There has to be somebody in that crew who was secretly hoping….

Second, tall people are just as capable of behaving like assholes as short people. So don’t ascribe it to being vertically challenged. I am vertically challenged too and I would never behave that way.

there are a lot of ways of abusing someone. exercising emotional control over your spouse is a form of abuse. isolating your spouse and child from contact with extended family is a form of emotional abuse. curtailing your spouse’s personal freedom of choice is a form of abuse. i could go on.

that said, no where did it say that Tom Cruise hit anyone in the cult but that the folks being punished were threatened with his personal beatdown, which they avoided.

Tom Cruise has for along time been elevated to almost Godlike status in this cult. it’s nice to see him finally humbled. after all, he is merely human like the rest of us and not deserving of any kind of worship.

I DO know that they do that! They absolutely DO force money to stay in the organization. I know somebody who is in the CoS and I know what they have done and that it’s their common practice. It’s what they do best, besides BRAINWASHING and KILLING PEOPLE. Google!

They have no deity or entity they worship, therefore, not a church except by their own assertions to gain tax exemption. Come on, don’t you know all this already?
