Jesus is in love with his MOTHER. By picking a partner that is 15 years older than his mother, his mother can comfortably remain on a pedestal. If the woman was much younger, well, well all know what happens when a son takes a wife. If the woman would have been the same age...how could he risk his mom fearing that she had to compete? But a woman that is practically old enough to be his mother's mother - PERFECT. She can be the sugar mama for everyone. But, that makes me wonder just how dysfunctional this all is.
