This time it's Tracy Morgan and his unsavory comments about gays. Well you know what Mr. Morgan, don't you dare go and apologize to the gay and lesbian community for doing what you do. You are a comedian and you are not responsible for the things you say. After all, it is what we expect from comedians today, right? There are countless times a comedian used off-color humor and offended someone. Whatever group that is offended in turn demands an apology and then the comedian issues a heartfelt apology. There is always an exception. What is the exception you ask? The exception is when the off-color humor is pointed at God. Forget the fact that He created the universe and all that is in it. Forget that He is more important than any man, woman, or creature on this earth. No matter how offended the Christian community was at the "humorous" antics of Kathy Griffin and her insults launched at God during an awards acceptance speech; no apology was offered. It was said overwhelmingly on morning shows across America, "that's just what comedians do". Outstanding! Mr. Morgan, make sure you remind these morning shows who are outraged and calling for your execution that, "this is just what comedians do". We have outrage over the comments of another comedian. I went to a local stand up one time in a group that included my parents, and one of the comedians had an act that was pretty much just sex and swearing. I was sitting next to my mum, which normally makes me uncomfortable when talk gets dirty, but this guy was so funny that even she was laughing. If it's good comedy, people will laugh, even if it's about something they'd never normally listen to. I like risque comedy, but it’s got to be funny. Otherwise, it’s just offensive shit spewing out of someone’s mouth.
