And she might have went along with it. That presupposes that she doesn't care if he's unfaithful, but I don't think it's too far of a stretch. If he was my husband I'd let him sleep around. Of course I'd never have sex with him again, but I'd be happy to let him lavish zillion dollar vacations on me and a household staff in all of my numerous houses...doesn't really sound like such a bad deal. The reality is that the "dream" of one man one woman is basically just that. A dream. Why not play the cards you're dealt? Has Regina ever commented on any of this? If Dave and that Stephanie slutbag were carrying on into Regina's actual marriage -then I'm ripping up my pretend Letterman Fan Club Membership card. Bums me out that he may have lied to his viewers when he could've just shut the hell up and let it play out with just an apology. I ain't too happy with this fella that put the screws to Dave, but I understand it. In his mind, Dave f'ked his life over and was getting away with it with the world adoring his snakey ass. That's gotta hurt. The guy messed up with his illegal tactics when he could've sold the whole shebang to the Enquirer or something for a million or two just as easy. And maybe that was part of the point for this guy, maybe it wasn't the money so much as wanting to see Dave's face drop to the floor ... (insert "=priceless" joke here). The real inhumanity in all of this is squarely and totally on Dave. I can’t blame this guy for wanting to make Letterman’s life miserable.
