I just thought I’d point out these rather pretty pictures of Nicole Kidman from last night. Nicole joined her husband Keith Urban at the 57th Annual BMI Country Awards held in Nashville. Keith looks meh (does he ever not flat-iron his hair?) but Nicole looks better than she has in a long time. I’m saying a little prayer that someone finally talked to her about the motherload of Botox she’s been jacking her face with her tight hairstyle. I think the red-red hair helps too, of course. The strawberry-blonde and the platinum blonde stuff had to go, it made her look washed out and severe. Hello Magazine claims Nicole cut her hair, but it’s obvious in some of these pictures that she’s got it in a loose knot at the base of her neck. Now that we’ve got some semblance of our old Nicole, the one we fell for all of those years ago, perhaps we can get her to stop doing that junk to her lips? They are starting to look painful. But if you don’t focus on her lips, the rest of her looks awesome.
In one other piece of Nicole and Keith news, Keith was interviewed in this week’s Hello, and he spoke very honestly about how they weren’t sure if they would have any kids together:
“We’re immensely blessed with Sunday. I think neither of us was ever sure we would have kids,” says Keith, 42. “We didn’t get to meet each other in our 20s or 30s, so we thought maybe that’s not our journey, we’re fine with that. But it’s such a miracle to have her.”
So could there be another baby in their future? Possibly. The Days Go By singer reveals, “We’re very grateful and not pining for anything more than what we’ve got. But if another was to come, Nicole and I would be very happy.”

I hate when Keith, Nicole, Katie Holmes or Tom Cruise talk like Nicole and Tom didn’t have two children together. Just the way Keith said “neither of us was ever sure we would have kids” caught my eye - maybe he meant “have kids together”, but maybe he meant “Nicole forgot her other kids”. There are rarely pictures of the older kids with Nicole (or with Tom, for that matter), so maybe I’ll buy that Nicole got cut out of their lives. But still - it wouldn’t hurt any of them to acknowledge those kids.

and the worm-like lip look is SO NASTY.

She looks 100% better with her natural hair color. It brings some warmth back into her skin.
I wish she would do something about those sinister botox brows though (I have a really bad headache - normally I don’t like to rag on people’s looks but I just can’t help myself today).

I think she looks lovely. I have a question though - do they (famous women) brush dark powder on the tops of their clavicles? I started noticing awhile ago that it always looks like there’s a shadow above their clavicles, and now it’s stuck in my brain to check. I am very thin, and I looked in the mirror, and guess what…no shadow. Am I missing out on some sort of beauty tip?

i agree that she looks soooo much better in these pics than she has in a while. i just wish she would put on, like, ten pounds. she’s still be skinny but maybe not as severely so.

I guess she was in a hurry and just ripped the curtain of her hotel room and made herself a dress. And what is with, uhhh… the hairdo?!
I wont comment on the gallon of Restyline she put in her lips.
As of Keith he reminds me of my 82 yrs old aunt Loise.

Her hair looks much better. But I wish she’d meet up with Renee Zellweger and go out for a hamburger . . .those clavicle boness could cut someone.

I’m inclined to believe that Nicole hasn’t cut the older kids out of her life - she was CUT. After splitting from Tom, I’m sure she was labeled a “suppressive person” and alienated from her kids. There would be no way Tom would allow her to be an influence on them, and possibly have them question Scientology; he wouldn’t want the “millions” (as if) of members reduced by two…

I think Tom’s cult is the reason why she’s not in the children’s lives. They call Katie Holmes “Mom”, which is HIGHLY disrespectful to the woman who raise them since they were BABIES!
At this point, it’s safe to say she doesn’t have a relationship with her older kids. Tom has primary custody and he forgets them all the time too — except when there’s an opportunity for PR (re: Isabella’s soccer games). Certainly he and Kate prop up Suri for press every chance they get!

In that article Kaiser posted, I believe further down there was a blurb noting Nicole has two kids with Tom.
And the last I knew, Tom and Nicole still had joint custody. She usually gets them in the summer, she said once. And they both make some sort of arrangement when one of them is filming. I hardly think “it’s safe to say she doesn’t have a relationship with her older kids.” I’ve seen pictures of her shopping with Isabella and watching the kids’ games.
Just because they call Katie, “Mom” - and sorry, but that’s highly suspect, especially if it came from Camp Tommy - doesn’t mean anything that significant. Sounds more like some PR caca. I don’t presume to know Katie, but I don’t see her being all that comfortable with Tom and Nicole’s kids calling her Mom. She’s pretty wrapped up with Suri.

Clavical = collar bones… And I do not see anything that resembles powder on Nicole’s chest, nor do I think there is any powder. Some people just have more prominent collar bones than others. Nicole’s were probably prominent to begin with and on top of that she is very, very thin which emphasizes them.

much better with red hair but she needs to eat a biscuit. hell even a salad with the dressing left on. remember how pretty she was circa practical magic. that nicole seems like a different person!

I have been advocating for a return to red hair for Nicole for ages, so this is a very welcome development. The styling I’m not crazy about, and the dress is mediocre, but THANK GOODNESS she’s stopped with that horrid shade of ice blond.

She’s always been a gorgeous woman. I could care less if she’s felt the need to make improvements. She’s insanely beautiful if you compare her to your average 40ish woman. Her skin is flawless and her body is better than most people could dream about in their twenties. Your average 40ish woman has wrinkles, double chin, and there’s a good chance she’s overweight. (Obesity is the number one killer in America.) Kidman is amazing if you compare it to that.

I really like the look. She should stop with the botox and keep with the more natural red hair. It makes her unique.

I had an accident effecting my right eyelid years ago and every few years I get it corrected at the plastic surgeon because I always say “I don’t want Nicole Kidman eyelid”. Her eyes are ugly and usually bloodshot.

I’m inclined to think that thus far she does still play a role in her two older children’s lives.
I believe this because if she had already been cut out, I think she would finally open up about her experience with Scientology, but from what I understand she’s keeping mum until it’s “safe” to speak. That moment will be soon, I’m sure.
I’ve always thought Nicole Kidman was so beautiful.

it is unquestionably extremely odd the way tommy pimps out suri to the max and you never saw the other two kids, even when they were little. i totally buy that nicole was cut out of their lives. if you scroll so that you cannot see the head in the banner pic, only the shoulders, you’d think that was a starvation victim. she’s naturally really thin though, not like renee who is naturally normal sized. i think the only real difference here is that she has her hair down over her forehead. she always looks like she must have skin makeup on or something but thats b/c i cant fathom anyone being that pale. i like her best when her hair is down and curly and kind of wild.

The whole reason Tom had Suri was so fans would see him as a young hip dad. If you see him with his older kids you remember HE’S old and that’s not the point. He’s just so disgusting I wish he’d go away.
And Nicole definitely looks better red. I hate the worm lips though. They always look blistered up.

Ah, the red is infinitely better. I think it also looks like she’s towards the end of a Botox forehead cycle. It looks like she’s almost, ever-so-slightly, possibly lifting her right eyebrow. Borderline human facial expression - yowza!

Definitely think she looks more alive and refreshed with the red hair. Just like she used to. Welcome back Nicole!
On a side note…I wish they let people in Hollywood eat. Seeing too much boniness is creepy.
