It’s about her being a hypocrite, saying she’s living according to god or the bible, being conservative, and all the other “good” things. Then we find out about breast implants, sex tapes, nude photos,etc. Clearly, as a spokesperson for conservative values she is NOT.
And yet, she is still out there, preaching whatever the hell she is preaching.
If she just came out with all this stuff in the beginning, no one would care.

ligeia, if she hadn’t been such a high and mighty, condescending snob in the first place who claimed to represent “family values”, nobody would care. If she’d just been level with the public and said “yeah, I’ve made some risqué decisions, but I’m a young woman and there’s nothing wrong with exploring my sexuality”, we’d all have said “you go girl!” and moved on. She’s the one who claims that the media is trying to silence her when she’s the one who made the sex tapes in the first place. She’s the one who decided to be a drama queen and attempt to sue the pageant for, among other things, the cost of her breast implants. She has brought this all on herself and I have no pity for her whatsoever. There is no double standard here.

But, it’s getting very common these days,
lots of celebrities out there have skeleton in their closets, which sometimes comes out and sometimes not.
And Carrie’s just one of them, I won’t call it a mistake, what happened has happened and no one can change it, so, she’ll have to live with it the rest of her life.
And, I’m very confident that incidents like these will be there in the future again. -

I don’t care what she does, but I think it’s unfair to adolescent girls to parade herself around as a role model after the fact. I would NEVER go into politics because of my past (none of which involves sex tapes but some of which involves arrest). So even though I’m moderately interested in politics, I avoid participating other than voting. It’s just common sense. Oh. Now I get it.
