These days women gain 40 to 50 pounds when pregnant and wonder why they have stretch marks. Keep the gain at 25 pounds and your skin should be able to handle the gain. Good lotions help some as it is important not to scratch at your skin. Part of it is genetics--some people just have fragile connective tissue and then nothing will help.
