Maybe his fellow erstwhile 'Toxic Twin' has fears about that kind of behaviour threatening his own recovery, or maybe they're going to end up washing their hands of him because they can't that kind of downward spiral again. Maybe it's a public 'wake up' message. I'm not choosing a side, but if so many people are responding to this situation in such a manner, perhaps there's more here than we think. They've known each other for decades, so I assume that there is a love there--friends, family, co-workers, whatever--but it must be terrible to be around that. Sometimes you just get put into the unenviable position of making someone accountable for his actions, if indeed, this is what the situation is. This is so sad! I'm only 22 but my dad loves Aerosmith so I grew up hearing all of their music. I love them too! They were my first concert :) Anyway, I hope Steven gets better. But the underlying issue is all the same, celebrity behavior shouldn't be prettied up because their rich and/or famous and non-celebrities shouldn't be denigrated with degrading names. Aerosmith has had an amazing run for a band, if they have to go on without Tyler, maybe they should consider a new name. But maybe the other bandmates contributed a lot more to the band like songwriting, music composition, etc., I guess for them, it would be offensive just to say that the band centers around Steven.
