I think it's great that teenagers get to see a young woman who is comfortable enough in her body to talk and laugh about putting on a few pounds without suffering from self-hatred. I think it's important for young girls to know that celebrities go up and down in size too and that it's not the end of the world. She's not particuarly bright but she's not dumb either. Don't know what people are expecting. I think she's pulled through this situation really well and at least she has not turned to drink and drugs and gone completely over the rails like a lot of her peers have done, even without the violence in their lives.
