I majored in International Affairs in school and we commonly used ‘neoconservative’ to describe warmongers and pro-democracy types, like Cheney and Rumsfeld and their ilk. I’ve never heard it used to describe a changed opinion. Not sure about the other definition. It’s confusing to me to hear Angie called that, since she’s so far off from that typecast!
And Tess, please don’t call my opinions false and absurd! I had good reason to say what I did, I didn’t just make it up to insult you.

All mainstream media is propaganda. ALL OF IT. One side isn’t really any better than the other, so I don’t understand the FoxNews hatred. It’s ALL censored, managed and designed to keep you placated and thinking that the BS they feed you is “real news”. It’s not.

I do watch Fox News though…but I know what it is, and it’s less hateful than CNN or MSNBC, so where’s the outrage against them?

@cea — I know darn well that it takes a lot of waiting, nail biting, and heartache to adopt an American baby (have friends who went through it), however she IS Angelina so how hard can it be for her? I have heard that because she has a police record of some sort, that makes her ineligible to adopt here, but I also know here that ‘money talks’. Can’t adopt here? Helping New Orleans is great, but they have the means to feed and help more hungry children and families here than to send it all oversea. It is, however, commendable that they do it at all, and they DO give much money to charity which is something few celebs seem to get involved with.(Publically anyway.) I agree also that Obama will be a one term President. This is a serious time in our country,yet most front page Obama news lately seems to be what Michelle wore to what event. Who REALLY cares about that, especially people who see these articles after they’ve lost their jobs, their homes, and many in the end, their families since these guys are looked upon as ‘failures’ so wives move on? On a PC note, this country has gotten SO PC that the whole PC idiocy is self distructing our country. Keep your eyes and ears open and you’ll see what I see as well. Very sad indeed.

A neoconservative is a “new” conservative. Someone who used to be a liberal, but whose life experiences lead to rethinking political philosophy.

It’s false and absurd to say that neoconservatives are war-mongers, determined to force American-style democracy on other nations.

Who is she to criticize Obama? She hasn’t worked that hard for anything in her life. If it wasn’t for her famous actor daddy giving her an acting career she would be nothing. She should feel lucky she never had to grow up in poverty or even bouts of poverty. She’s always been fairly privileged Hollywood brat. People are really suffering in America right now, losing their homes and jobs wich she doesn’t seem to give a damn about. I guess it’s better photo opp- looks cooler for her to continuously pose with cute little black children in foreign coutries than to actually care about the disadvantaged people in this country.

It never fails–print some sh*t up about her and you will get attention.

She hasn’t been invited to White House to give her ‘perspectives’ over the world because, like, she travels so much, you know, and like, she has so many children from everywhere, you know….
