This just makes me lose respect for ABC. I can’t believe they would waste time and money on this project. This show will get canned quick. It doesn’t matter how many damn kids she has or if she hasn’t been in jail THIS year, the american public isn’t going to guy Nicole Richie as career women, especially on a family channel like ABC. Also, how can she say this show is based on her life? How does her playing an everyday business woman reflect her real life in any way? ABC must be so desperate because nothing else explains this. Actress and Producer my ass. Give a real actress trying to get a break in her career this job instead, this is stupid. She can’t pull it off.

Though the whole no-talent-to rub-between-two fingers in Hollywood is exhausting, I have to admit that because of her seeming about face Richie is generating in me something that resembles “not hatred”….so we’ll see.

I have an idea for a show where a family moves in next to a wacky neighbor. There lots of wackiness and of course zany hijinks, but along the way, we learn some lessons about life and love.

she was better than paris on that show but a follower without her own style. she tried to become lithe and thin like paris even though she has big bones. not a leader, a follower, and i can’t stand a follower.

I have no hate for her, in fact I wish her all the luck.
To the doubters, you should ask yourselves how many screen plays, SitCom scripts or novels you have written, she could have just stayed an heiress, but instead she chose to contribute.

Snorefest! She is an untalented, annoying little creep, I cant believe people actually fall for this crap. So, she stopped “partying” & turned her life around, big deal, thats what happens to most people with half brain when its time to grow up. I am tired of her getting credit for doing absolutely nothing original.

Just because it’s Nicole Richie doesn’t mean it will be a bad show. I liked her when she was on “Chuck”. Also I don’t think her fashion lines are just a hobby. She takes it very seriously. And Nicole is hardly in tabloids. She’s almost always with her kids. I don’t see her leaving nightclubs at 3AM or shopping all of the time. She really turned her life around.
