I love this guy… one of the few genuine actors in Hollywood… colin farrel needs to stfu… what kind of stupid crap is that… take me off the credits… I hate overt displays like that… give me an effing break… if you dont actually want attention you would just quietly go on with your business… Richard Feynman once wanted to reject the nobel prize buut someone correctly pointed out to him that doing so would just garner more attention so colin ferret can suck it…

I adore Jeff Bridges and agree he’s been robbed of Oscars before – what about his performance in Fearless, seriously one of the all-time best ever film performances. One thing about this article made me raise my eyebrows though – what does it mean, Colin Farrell asked for his name to be taken off the credits? Is it just that he didn’t ask for equal lead billing or something?

I think the lack of comments is about respect. It’s really hard to snark about someone when you feel a true sense of respect for him.

It’s also about authenticity. The professionalism, kindness, and wisdom are so obvious in his words and deeds there’s really nothing to debate.

Hats off to you, Mr Bridges. I hope Oscar smiles warmly upon you this year. It’s about time.

Jeff Bridges is a class act, wonderful actor, and apparently a quiet, modest, family kind of guy.

He’s been one of my favorite actors for a long time.

Two of my favorite Bridges films are Starman and The Fabulous Baker Boys.
