I have my doubts that Miley will get into an Ivy league institution. Even if she did have the academic intelligence to do it, they’ll take one look at her budding promiscuity and refuse her. If she did, it would be on money, and that will just make me furious beyond all reason.

I honestly think that if she does go to a University, someplace like NYU will be more suited to her and her personality. (From what I’ve gathered from the small amount of interviews I’ve seen from her, I obviously don’t know her) It’s more well known for fine arts programs (I imagine they’d have a good photography program there for her), and there would be plenty of places for her to socialize and freely roam. Ivy league strikes me as a place that would be rather stifling for her.

So, they have this thing where they compare and contrast actresses who went to even a little bit of college compared to those who didn’t. (in the article that talks about Miley possibly going to college) In the Claire Danes vs Rachel McAdams one, they mention Danes dropping out of Yale and nothing about Rachel’s secondary education.

That’s complete BULL. McAdams graduated from York University in 2001 with HONORS. I believe it was something in the fine arts/performing arts. That wins by MILES over a Yale dropout. I think the article made Danes “win” that battle.

Ugh, that just made me so incredibly angry!!!

My neighbors down the road educated all 4 of their children by homeschooling them, so I am aware of what it is and how beneficial it can be.

I seriously doubt, however, that, as Praise put it, Miley and others are in that catagory. Just because we are told they are being educated, doesn’t mean that they are being educated. Evidenced by Ali NEVER being at home and Miley either. Yes, there are travelling tutors and such, but come on, these girls are hardly behaving as though they are well educated, homeschooled individuals.

@Praise – I also agree with you on this. Homeschooling is fine when done right, but most of these show biz kids are “homeschooled” so they can work and rake in millions for their parents, their education doesn’t matter at all. And then eventually the pop tart careers dry up and what are they left with?
Dakota Fanning is going to be one of the few of her generation to grow up right, get an education and have a normal life, and you know her future career is going to benefit greatly from that.
