Seriously though, in his defense, Alex usually looks so MUCH BETTER than this on True Blood as the Viking Vampire Eric. If you’ve ever seen the show, then you understand why some of us ladies are totally gaga for him.

Alexander has real bad allergies which is why he looks more tired some days. I love his casual don’t give a F attitude about his clothes. He’s normal.I know it a surprise. He comfortable about being himself and not a celebrity cookie cutout. With age come wisdom.

I haven’t gotten into True Blood yet, so didn’t know what all the hype was about around AS. But I happened to start watching “Generation Kill” this past weekend, and even before I knew who was playing Sgt. Brad Colbert, I was like, omg WHO is that gorgeous guy?? I was surprised to discover that it was Alex, maybe because he has short hair and is tanned vs. the pale vampire skin I’ve seen him with in True Blood photos.
All of “Generation Kill” is amazing — it’s extremely well-done, but I have to say the shirtless/action shots of Alex and Rudy Reyes (Google him! I promise it will be worth it lol) got extra attention from me 🙂
Suffice it to say, I’m now an Alex Skarsgard fan!

For the record, I’ve read the books and I’ve seen the TB series. I stand by my personal comment about not getting on board with his “hotness”. He just doesn’t do it for me. But neither does Bill. And they can replace Sookie too. Not one of them lives up to the characters in the book. On the other hand, Lafayette brings it in double layers. So that’s where I stand and I’m not backing down from it. If one small character actor can go from almost a nonexistent part in the books to being an integral part of the series, and be damn fine and entertaining at it, then the others can inhale his dust. And HE is very good looking.
Can’t wait for the return of True Blood! I think he just doesn’t come across quite as good in still pics. He is def the new hot guy. Nice to see a new face (you can exit now Brad and George!)
