It’s no secret to me that Jennifer Lopez is delusional, that she thinks she’s God’s gift, that she spends her time wondering aloud about what it will be like when she wins her long-awaited Oscar, that she’s a narcissistic diva. All that being said, I kind of enjoy Jennifer Lopez, much in the same way I enjoy Gwyneth Paltrow. They’re fun because they are so delusional.
Anyhoodle, Jennifer gave an interview to Us Weekly where she kind of went off on how great her figure is. She announced to the mag: “My abs are pretty flat for having twins!” When asked how, Lopez replied: “Nothing crazy. It’s about being consistent. That’s it. You have to put the work in. It’s true I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge, but I’m proud of my butt. A dress shouldn’t look like a coat hanger. Skinny girls miss out.” Okay, Jennifer. We get it. You’re still amazing! What’s weird is that Jennifer’s delusional behavior seems to have rubbed off on Jennifer’s new friend and “designer” Victoria Beckham:
They’re both multi-tasking moms and wives, fashion icons, and pop music veterans, but Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez share one more thing in common, believe it or not: dress sizes!
Although Lopez as is famous for her curves as Beckham is for her rail-thin frame, Beckham tells 10 magazine (via The Cut) that they actually fit into the same dresses.
Discussing her fashion line to the magazine, Beckham, 34, says, “My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore.”
Posh herself sounds as surprised as anyone, adding, “Who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!”
The British star doesn’t note what that exact dress size is.
Even with three sons underfoot, Beckham has said frequently that she still hits the gym seven days a week. “I run so quick after a double espresso, my [sneakers] are on fire! They have sparks!” she says.
Ryan Seacrest, who worked alongside Beckham when she was a guest judge on American Idol, observed that she eats “perfectly… [she says], ‘I’m getting the steamed this, the steamed that.’”
By contrast, Lopez told Allure magazine recently, “I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department…You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids…you’re kind of unmotivated. You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”

Now, I am not saying that Jennifer is big – she’s not. She has a very healthy, lovely figure. I’m just saying that there is no way in hell that Lopez and Posh are the same size. Victoria Beckham is so, so tiny. She’s gaunt! She wears corsets to give herself a waist circumference in the teens! How could they wear the same size? Ugh.

Well… if those wax figurines are true to size, Jlo is teeny tiny and all ass. (hey I was on vacay and we had to entertain the kids!)

Hmmm…I think Victoria’s remarks reflect her good business sense. She wants to sell her clothing line–especially to celebrities (free publicity)–and she knows that Jennifer is a extravagant spender. Flattery will get you everywhere when big egos are involved!

Legs that do not align with the caucasian cooncept of what legs should look like are called tree trunk legs?
This is how I know that my so called white “friends” are snickering behind my back. Giving me compliments, then probably saying, “do you see her tree trunk legs?”

I definitely wouldn’t put Jlo and VB in the same size category, but no way does Jlo have “tree trunk legs”. Her legs are great, and I think it’s sad that women think legs have to be skinny and unsubstantial to be beautiful. My legs are sturdy and shapely but not at all skinny, nor will they ever be. Not everyone is meant to have toothpick legs.

Oh, for god’s sake. When I posted that JLo’s legs were like tree trunks, I was imagining her in some of Beckham’s pants, which would never happen because her legs are so much larger and muscled than Beckham’s.
Now tell me that her body shape (and her years dancing) gives her long, meatless legs. No. She’s got muscled legs. So what? I never said skinny legs were better or that JLo’s legs were ugly.

Where did I not own my comment? I clarified what I thought may have been misunderstood, but last time I checked, I was allowed to have the opinion that JLo’s legs are solid and muscular, the opposite of Victoria’s bird legs.
Why some are personalizing this, I have no idea. I don’t know what anyone’s legs look like, nor does it matter. If one of us/you doesn’t like someone’s hair or boob job, are we going to have a peeing match because people with similar hairdos and boob jobs are going to take it personally?

yeah, wow, what a backhanded comment!!!! although i totally can NOT see them fitting in the same size dress, i will say that dress sizes are weird sometimes and maybe with a little (ok, A LOT) of tailoring and being pulled in at the waist and hips, which im sure she has to have done for most of her clothes, yes…that dress fits her! i think j-lo is probably pretty thin compared to normal everyday person standards, i think she just has that big ol’ luscious butt and hips which give her the appearance of being bigger than she is.
so yes, maybe they wear the same dress size, with some tailoring involved, but there is no way that they wear the same pant or shirt size. i always love it when celebrities like Kelly Osbourne say that they are a size 4dress… yeah, ok, well what size pants do you wear… an 8? a 10? remember, Jennifer Love Hewitt famously wears a size 2 dress…..

The operative word missing in the headline is “dress”. Beckham states that she wore the same dress Jennifer wore and was surprised. I don’t see any direct comparisons from Victoria or Jennifer to the two woman’s body sizes. Are there side by side pics of these two women together?
FWIW, pre-twins, Jen was described as being a size 6.
