Forget about yesterday, in today’s time, where women are more knowledgeable, where women’s groups have challenged the fashion industry, why are models still a size zero, why after being photographed by a professional, who knows how to hide a women’s flaw, must they then be photo-shopped to make them even more unattainable by normal women? Seriously, fashion is supposed to follow what the public wants? The public with buying power inform the merchants what is the “new thing”, example crocs, yet do the models of these fashion houses even compare to a normal women? Even men do not consider them the ideal women, for what men want you have to look at “Sports Illustrated, Swimsuit edition”, Playboy, or Maxim, and the women that men vote on are not stick figures, these women have curves. So why do fashion houses use these stick women, (have you seen their plus size model? The girl looks like a skinny normal person), is it because women secretly covet the unattainable? Do you really believe that the clothes look better on women who are starving themselves? And even if does, then it will not look good on a normal women, because normal women are not a size zero, we should be demanding to see what the clothes look like on a normal person.
