And now they are refusing to bring injured children out of the country for badly needed medical treatment, because they are afraid of possible kidnap plots, thanks to those idiots who tried to sneak 33 children into the Dominican Republic for adoption in the U.S. A lot of those children weren't even orphans. @Solveig: I don’t think it’s willful mishandling of a crisis, but every time something like this happens it seems like deteriorating conditions are magnified by stupidity.
