Back on Monday, Radar put out a report saying that friends of Lindsay Lohan were claiming that she told them that Samantha Ronson abused her. According to this web of whispers, “Lindsay told me that Sam beat the sh-t out of her. She also said that Sam even punched and choked her one time.” Personally, I had a hard time believing it. The abuse, I mean. I sort-of believed that Lindsay might have accused Sam of abusing her while Lindsay was being cracked-out or something. In any case, Lindsay has taken to her crack tweets to deny ever saying that Sam Ronson ever abused her or “ever raised a hand to me.” Sam Ronson responded to Lindsay’s crack tweet with her thanks: “The high road was giving me a nose bleed!”
Lindsay Lohan and on-off girlfriend Samantha Ronson are finally agreeing on one thing: The celeb DJ never abused the actress.
Lohan, 23, is shooting down RadarOnline’s recent report that she’s been telling pals that Ronson, 32, beat, punched and choked her.
“This is become a bit much,” she writes on Twitter. “Samantha R never raised a hand to me. I’ve never said she did. Enough is Enough. Focus on more important world issues.”
Ronson replied thanking Lohan for “clearing that up. The high road was giving me a nose bleed!
.” She then added, “To ANYONE who perpetuates this rumour accusing me of being violently abusive after @lindsaylohan has denied it: I WILL take legal action.”
But things are hardly rosy between the two.
On Feb. 3, the former couple, who first began dating in 2008, had a showdown at the Tea Room at H. Wood in L.A.
“Lindsay started screaming and throwing cigarettes at Sam while she was deejaying,” a witness tells UsMagazine.com. “Sam ripped her laptop out of the wall and left.”

I believe Sam Ronson would take legal action, so let me make it clear: I never believed Sam was abusive. Perhaps Sam was Lindsay’s enabler at one point, but I think Sam has pretty much cut her losses now. What I would be interested in hearing, though, is either Lindsay or Sam’s response to the Radar report that Lindsay threw a drink in Sam’s face after Sam called Lindsay‘s drunken, drugged-out shenanigans “a disgrace.” Hm? Where’s that denial?

Sam did nothing wrong, she was at a gas station , is not her fault that lindsay is a mess and she passed out. She was being responsible in not letting her drunk friend drive , who had a dui 2 days before.

If I was to believe anyone was abusive in a relationship that would be Hohan. There is footage of her following Sam and going to her home and harrasing her until Sam let her in, because Hohan use the poor me the paparazzi are following me.

Now, there’s a nice picture of Lindsay that was taken last week.
There were 3 stories to radar within days of each other. One had Sam being drunk and abusive at a club, one had Lindsay throwing a drink in Sam’s face, and one had Lindsay telling of abuse. I think all 3 came from the same “source” and this is discussed on another board. That source, thought of by some as stalker-like, is at question, not Lindsay or Sam or revisiting their relationship. I didn’t believe Sam was abusive, either. Dunno why, just didn’t. Might have something to do with the fact that Lilo acts so childish and melodramatic and tends to make things up.

Am really happy to hear that Sam didn’t do this as violence in any form is completely wrong.
I still believe Lindsay thrives on all the drama and even though she is (rightly) denying this, I’m sure she loved the additional attention.
I personally dont think its a great shot of Lindsay above, she still looks aged and rough and worn.
Drugs are just so bad, look how they are destroying her life, looks and career.

I find it so hard to believe that Hohan is only 23! Looks-wise, she seems AT LEAST 45. Maturity-wise she seems 11. I truly think that Samantha was far too good for Hohan. Hohan definitely needs to fall off the face of this earth…please!

I’m not commenting on if she drinks. I don’t know, I don’t hang out with her. The question is, why believe radar’s source and what gives them anything resembling credibility when no one whatsoever has corroborated their story as well as other accounts (cigarettes thrown at Sam by unidentified people in a rough crowd) have been told by a few people including Sam. And Sam said in a radio interview she didn’t know who threw cigarettes, she could only guess. She also pointed tons of holes in the story. Anyway, this was the Tea Room and radar said H.wood and Sam said she’s never been there.

It’s like driving by a car wreck – you slow down, look for blood – and thank god it’s not you! They clearly enable each other in a toxic way. Linds is a struggling addict, she knows how it is – she’s been to rehab a few times now, she should be living in a clean enviroment where people know how to handle her emotional rollercoster. Instead, she hangs on to Sam who is probably sick of her bullshit, but knows without Linds she would be forgotten in a heartbeat!

I’m glad Linds defended Sam (after letting the momentum build for a few days, of course), but as a surviver of a physically abusive relationship, it’s frustrating to see such serious allegations fly so flippantly. It’s irresponsible and denigrating to people who are actually involved in abusive relationships.
And while I hope Lohan still has enough sense in her drug addled brain not to “leak” such an atrocious lie – I have absolutely no doubt that she did tell someone that Sam, “beat the sh-t out of [me]“. If only to garner sympathy and to deflect her own behavior. It fits the junkie’s MO.
I’d be curious to find the source of these allegations.

Or is it from a former friend letting the chickens home to roost? (Slightly less appalling – but I doubt Lindsay will take the lesson of personal accountability to heart. She seems focused on her own victimization as of late, and will probably view this as another “betrayal!”)

I tend to think that the perpetually unstable Lindsay did leak this out of anger, but Sam’s family/lawyers made her retract it because it is a lie.
Even in a crack haze, I think Lindsay knows she doesn’t want a legal battle with the Ronsons.

it’s like lindsay was waiting for these lies to gather enough steam so she could charge in and play the rescuer or something.. or to show she has more power .. or to make ronson talk to her… or all of it at once?
i don’t know.. i just find it way too strange that the lies started really getting picked up just as sam’s radio interview was also being noticed.
