Kelly Osbourne has been turning heads for the past few weeks for all good reasons. She’s lost a lot of weight, she got an adorable little blonde bob, and her fashion sense has greatly improved. Plus, she even got an Us Weekly cover celebrating her new body, in which Kelly was interviewed and she seemed very sweet and humble. All in all, good times. But like so many of us, I think Kelly still has that same old self-destructive streak. Thus, dying her hair this weird lavender-grey, which she showed off last night.
Now, some will say it’s just some dumb hair dye. You’re probably right. But you know she probably paid a small fortune to get her hair to do that cute blonde bob thing, and now she’s ruined it with lavender. Kelly tweeted: “i know its lavender but having my hair this color makes me feel like me again!” See? She didn’t feel like herself when too many good things were happening, so she had to ruin her hair. She even said she was inspired by Dame Edna. Oh, no. Honey, don’t.
Kelly also took to her Twitter to dismiss the tabloid rumors that she had surgery to get her new look. She tweeted: “ I would not waste money on plastic surgery people have already made up there minds as to what I look like and I would rather buy a new dress.” Kelly also joked about plastic surgery in a recent interview, saying “When I get older, yeah definitely [I would have work done]… I think it can be a great thing, it’s just that people take advantage of it and it gets scary. My mom and I call them Vegas faces or Sellotape faces. They think they look sexy when they’ve got lips like vaginas. They’re just cardboard cut-outs of each other.”

I am actually jealous of her hair. It grows so damn fast and its so thick. Ugh! Anyways, she pulls off that lavender perfectly. At least it doesn’t age her by 10 years.

This may be totally trendy right now(though heavens know why) but I don’t like it. On anyone. And I thinks it’s particularly yucky on Kelly. Well… maybe not as yucky as the peroxide blonde was, but still.

How is changing her hair color self-destructive? It’s hair. You can dye it, cut it, re dye it, and it grows back. Thus I don’t really see how it’s ruined since she could go right back to the blond bob next week if she wanted.

i can’t help but notice that her pupils are a little dilated. i’ve also been noticing that everybody in hollywood have dilated pupils recently too. either its the flashes from the camera or they’re all on drugs…

I kinda like it and it totally fits with what Kelly’s been doing for years, but I hate her choice of lipstick with her complexion. I always thought you were supposed to match your lip and nail color, or at least be in the same family ? But, I’ll be the first to admit I’m not up on the trends…

I think she looks adorable but the color is old lady-ish and I think she should rock some color while she still can. She looks amazing since her weight loss. I’m proud of her.

I like the concept but the dye looks a bit uneven and she needs different blush and lipstick.
I rather like that platinum blonde/gray color that Pink and GaGa sport – but maybe that is because I am gray myself and thinking of giving up coloring every 6 weeks and going natural.

Her pupils are probably dilated because of the lighting she’s in. In that first shot, it’s night time, and it’s probably dark without the camera flash.
Also, camera flashes (or any light) would make pupils smaller, not dilate them.

actually, this color is a new trend. light pastels are in. a few major fashionistas have dyed their hair these colors. i think its alright. but i wouldnt want to damage my hair with a harsh dye job.

I like it but think it would have looked better with hot pink tips or something brighter. The lavender is hard to see and needs to be more pronounced to really make a statement. But done well, I think it would suit her and she’d look terrific.

I think the hair and lips look great… I also think that the brown blush ruins it, it should have been a cool-toned pink to match the rest of the look.
Anyway, she looks cute and really happy as well. I particularly like the hair cut and the way she did her hairline, it suits her features nicely.
